We speak no Spanish but have been very welcomed and looked after here, the attitude of the staff is an example to all. The location is a small village in the mountain woodland valley with a river running though. The food is much better than all the Michelin star restaurants we have eaten in, possibly the atmosphere makes it that... More

We had lunch today and although we had read very good reports...the cosy atmosphere, the familiar handling of the restaurant and the exceptional food have given us one of the best ratio cost/experience. There is a very nice menu at 40€ with many good traditional recipes. A very good menu for children also available. Awesome!

I was arround with my mother and decided to try because of the fame it has. It tries to be a gastronomic experience of a certain level but it finally becomes a trandition bender and overpriced. I,m sorry to say that you can eat better in any other traditional restaurant in the valley for a half price and really traditional... More

Set in the beautiful village of Arties, this was an excellent find. We had a large bedroom on the third floor, with garden and mountain views. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The furniture in this place was stunning, and had obviously been collected over many years. The lounge area was simply beautiful. It appealed to... More

This is now the 3rd time we have eaten at Casa Irene while skiing in nearby Baqueira. The service is excellent and the quality of food is amazing. The mushroom soup is probably the best I've ever had! Also, the chicken stuffed with goose foie was surprisingly light and so tasty. They prepared a "special" steak for our son who... More

Although we've skied in Baqueira 6-7 times, we've only recently discussed the wonderful little village of Arties which is about 6km down the mountain from the ski area. It is an absolutely wonderful, traditional little spanish village which is absolutely rammed with great tapas bars, restaurants and even some nice cocktail bars. We stayed in Casa Irene for 3 nights... More

Its a small hotel but even the better is the service and the hospitality. We spent a great weekend in Casa Irene, the room was very big and with a mix of alpine classic and modern. Great bathrooms with a good shower. The room offers everything you need for a longer ski holiday, space for everything. The bed is great... More

Casa Irene was our home for 5 nights, and it was very comfortable. I would come back. The restaurant is one of the best in town, and the service is impeccable. The sitting room with open fire feels like at home, where you can have a glass of wine, coffe or just sit and read your book. Our room at the... More

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and it was just an amazing experience. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a spa bath just because it was our anniversary. The room was sumptuous, warm, added bonus of huge spa bath and bath robes. We had our evening meals in the restaurant and words are not enough to describe... More

Great beutiful hotel. What more to say that the other positive reviews did not already say? Wonderful breakfast with good strong coffee and good walks easy from hotel and yet close , but not too close to main road.
