The rooms were clean and the shower was great although no wardrobe or hooks to hang your clothes. Continental breakfast was lovely. Just need to be prepared for a steep walk upto the hotel. The views are worth it though. Staff were friendly and felt like a small friendly place. For a 2 night break I would go back again....

We enjoyed our stay at this unusual hotel but there were a few annoying things; although most could be excused because of it's age and character. The room we stayed in was a nice large room with a lovely private garden terrace shaded by vines, (no sea-view) there was a comfortable four-poster bed and separate toilet & bathroom, there was...

We booked this hotel for a 2 night business trip, this charming little hotel is in a great location right at the top of the Dalt Vila in the old town, bear this in mind because its quite a hike to get there but the views are amazing and well worth the walk. We stopped on the top floor in...

Old traditional style building which is shallow but spread over several floors down the side of the steep hill that is Ibiza old town. Lots of character in a traditional Spanish sort of way (tiled floors, white rough plaster walls etc.) and very clean. The staff were always helpful and looked after us very well. The location for us was...

Stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights) and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel is inside the old battlements (near the top)and whilst i enjoyed the daily walk up and down the series of steep narrow streets and alleyways, its not for the faint hearted. Even taxis can only go so far, so if you are in anyway having...

The room did not look any similar to the ones advertised. The one they tried to put as on was incredibly small and with one small window. There's barely any space for you to walk around. We were so shocked by this that we tried to move rooms but there wasn't anything available and the staff was not helpful at...

I am amazed about teh few negative critics on this hotel. The management is new and they have improved considerably. I am told they expect more renovations for 2017 but if you want to experience a true gem, this is the place. With all the hotels people can choose from in Ibiza, I don't understand why people decide to stay...

Don't understand all the negative coments about this place. If you're looking for a modern buzzing place you should book Ibiza Rocks or DC10 but if you are looking for and old hotel with a lot of caracter this is definitely the place for you. Amazing location, great views, no issues with staff and I'll probably come back.

I came to Ibiza to see friends and they suggested El Corsario. They were so right! The hotel is incredible, my bed huge and ubber comfy, the service simply flawless and the views of the whole town, the port and the island breath taking. I got looked after incredibly well and will stay here next year again! Truly magnificent!

A beautiful building which could be so great. I approached the new management to resolve some issues for me. Despite getting a positive response on the day, they didn't resolve my issues, and over months didn't communicate with me. I would not recommend this hotel at all, which is a shame, because the building and setting are beautiful. In my...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa Histórica. The legend is alive! An ancient corsair's palace from the 17th century in the heart of the antique old town. Cradle of the legendary artists group "IBIZA 59" which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2009. From W. Gropius to Pink Floyd, from Grace Kelly to Romy Schneider, from Onassis to Errol Flynn - they all were enchanted by the charme and the poetry, the heavenly peace and the overwhelming view over the lower part of town and the harbour. El Corsario is pure Ibiza, a never aging"Magic spot" right in the middle of the World Culture Heritage. A tiny little intimate "hideaway". ... more   less
