Incredibly peaceful location and beautiful gardens. Rooms are basic, but the owner, Kamil, is worth more than any fancy hotel suite! The place is quiet and the rooms have hammocks and balconeys which are a perfect place to read and relax. I will be back for sure!

What an amazing experience we had staying here! We do not like to book beforehand, so the first thing we did when arriving was tlook for the right place. Most places seemed good, but nothing really met our expectations. That is, until we found Coconut's neighboring hotel (Ananda's B&B).The owner told us that Coconut Cottages used to be a huge... The place is nice with a quiet garden. The owner is very helpful and pleasant. The bungalows are very basic, but okay and with a hammock in front on the balcony. The location is good for snorkling. For swimming you need to walk a bit to the South (close to where the boats arrive about 1 km). The bungalows are... More

After a staying on the island for a week we wanted to extend our stay, and of course to not break the bank: so we set out to find a great value cottage. We walked around the whole island, and settled here- The reason we settled on coconut cottage, was that their prices are really low, the garden is beautiful,... More

We stay here for a couple of nights, it was a bit far away from the Main Street and on a dark road we had to hire bikes, on 2nd day hot water didn't work and the staff didn't seem to care, it's ok for a couple of nights but not for more then that, there's better places!

Good god, what an awful experience! From the looks of the previous reviews, it seems like this place used to be fairly nice. I think it may have been sold, because the name changed to Ananda B&B and the place looks NOTHING like the website advertises. There was no owner named Kamil to give us a warm welcome. There was... Kamil, the owner, shared his good mood and life vision during our stay. The place is peaceful, full of charm and quiet. We stayed in the back rooms and didn't hear the mornings call to pray. Only cocks nevertheless. Some things could be adjusted to get it totally perfect but, the Gilis effect plays his role, and you'll enjoy in... More

I had booked a cottage for 3 nights, when my wife and I arrived for our honeymoon, we were first told that the person who was in our room the previous night had fallen ill so they let them stay another night, which we obviously found out was false. After much talking with the poor frontdesk boy, he agreed to... More

After reading the last review, I was a bit reluctant to stay here, but everything else was booked. What a delightful surprise. I thought for the price, it was good value- the bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The owner Kamil was very friendly as was the rest of the staff and the breakfast was great. It was only a...
