We were really looking forward to staying here since the reviews were very positive and the write-up on their website really made it sound like a great place to stay. We did eat dinner there and the food was good. We ate outside because the restaurant smelled like smoke even though there were multiple signs posted saying no smoking. Multiple...

This is a bed & breakfast place owned and operated by a Australian-Thai couple, Don & Daeng. They are so accommodating to my needs, and made my stay memorable. Don picked me up from the bus station in town, and Daeng arranged the tour of Savannakhet, Lao for me by teaming me up with another guests to reduce the costs....

THe hotel was hard to find for us - make sure you have both Don and Deng's mobile numbers so you can call them for directions to find hotel and to get service you may need. None of the staff besides Don and Deng spoke English. English breakfast was great...

We are travelling for 14 years through Thailand - that was our best "hotel". Mukdahan Manor B&B is not a hotel - the owner Don and Dang built a big residental complex and they have 2 rooms for rent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the view onto the Mekong and Laos is great. In the swimmingpool you can...
