The hotel is old. Nobody can speak english. But uncle in the reception area treated us nice although he can't speak english. Don't expect for an LCD TV. WIFI connection is good. Hotel is near the senado square. In front of Koi Kei bakery selling famous Portuguese Egg Tart. Value for money is all I can say to this hotel.

It's very bad, very dirty, uncomfortable and noisy place! Nobody speaks English. Rooms and furniture are very old. The only plus is that this hostel is situated in the center.Anyway, please, don't go there!

We enjoyed our stay at Vila Universal because it was homey. We got the Suite Room (w/ 5 beds). All of us slept soundly through the night--the temperature was right, the sheets were comfy, there was ample room to move around. Although the old man in the reception could not speak English well, we were amused with him because he...

We arrived at this hostel in the middle of the night without any reservation. We were greeted by an old Chinese man smoking at the reception. They charge the weekend rate of MOP630 for a twin room so we snapped it up. It’s a very straightforward stay—no breakfast and no wifi. Thankfully, there’s a Pasteleria Koi Kei just across the...

This guest house locates in a small lane which is within 10 minutes walk to Ruins of St. Paul's or Senado Square, and 15 minutes walk to the nearest Galaxy hotel shuttle bus stop. The front counter lady wasn't quite friendly but with this low price you couldn't expect much better service. The rooms are all ensuite with a air...

For 800 MOP we were giving the "Small Suite" - a dank room with four singles in a row. Low ceiling - good job none of us are over average height! State of disrepair, nooks and crannies stuffed with various junk - piles of cardboard boxes, the mop, some old tins... The bathroom - with even lower ceiling, and random...
