Grande Lapa has, hands down, the best pool in Macau. Lets start with the negative: its expensive... really expensive, if you are going only for the pool the entry fee is 360 MOP I believe and if you will spend the day, this means you still have to buy meals and drinks. Now for the good part: waterfall, water slide,...

Very good hotel specially in Macau, as we stayed with kids age 6 & 2 and they loved the place . Specially recommended for families with small kids. As Macau is mostly a gamblers hub and finding a good hotel with all the good amenities and very near to ferry is the best part.

We haven been going to the grand lapa for about 4 years with our 2 kids who are now 4 and 5. It is a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal. The club facilities are absolutely perfect. A well run club which is in fact also a popular private club, so you don't feel like that only hotel guest...

Went during Chinese New Year Pros -New refurbished rooms Cons - Bed is way too soft you just get sunk in. I am not sure if it was just this room or all rooms had similar problem. Disaster for person with bad back - The ambience in the path way to the rooms are so brightly lit, like city hall....

This hotel used to be the Mandarin Oriental Macau. You can tell that the staff are professional, well spoken, good english and very welcoming. The room was fairly old but very good maintenance. The plugs and universal cord are provided which I love as I am traveling for business.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the ferry terminal and behind the Sands Casino. Nevertheless it offers complimentary shuttle services to the ferry during the day. I had a short, but great stay at the Grand Lapa Hotel. The room was spacious, very clean and it included a lot of amenities: a safe deposit box, coffee/tea facility, iron...

What a fantastic place for the price! Huge TV in the room, bed was comfy, so many amenities! Definitely 5 star service for a low price. You are right next door to Sands so you can stay here and gamble there. I was highly disappointed in all of the casinos! Visited at least 10 casinos and all the major ones...

I chose this hotel despite a wide choice of alternatives. They make me welcome here, and because of refurbishment (no problem) they upgraded me to a suite. The restaurant is good, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. A comfortable suite with good views across to the South China Sea. I'll be back!
