Rude employees and Tv which did not work. For a new hotel, the service does is not compatible with the rest of hotels in Macau. I do not recommend the Fu Hua Hotel, unless you cannot afford anything else.

The night we arrived at this hotel was very disappointing. Although we were able to check in for 5 mins or less.. The triple room at room 901 was dirty, old and with dilapidated walls. The carpet was very dirty, it was as if they don't vacuum it. The faucet at the comfort room was defective, water continuously flowing. They didn't bother to fix it. The first night we arrived, we had supply of toothbrush, 1 small soap ( although we were 3 guests) and no more. No complimentary water, coffee or tea.. All we have was an old electric kettle and cups and glasses. Then the next day, we requested to make up our room. They did it, however, the housekeeping people seem to clean only the upper surface but not the flooring and carpet. The dirt we left was there every time we leave our room. They only fixed the beddings and changed our towels but they didn't wash the glasses we used. Plenty dust everywhere of the room, maybe that's the reason why I got colds the moment we got in from that room. Very frustrating. Hotel staff was not accommodating nor helpful to their guests. They will only answer you, yes or no. Maybe because they dont speak English well. The hotel is located 1 bus stop away from Macau Ferry Terminal, fare is MOP 3.20. Just take Bus 32. It's walking distance from red market and three lamps district. One piece of advise, if u don't like to take taxi from the hotel to the airport, just follow what we did. We took bus 32 in going to Macau ferry terminal, then from there, we took the free shuttle bus of Venetian hotel. The VH has a free shuttle bus going to the airport. Inthink most of the hotels in taipa has their free shuttle tonthe airport. And if you came from the airport going to your hotel, just take bus AP1 to Macau Ferry terminal. From there the shuttle bus of the different hotels in Macau are there waiting forntheir guests. However, our hotel dont have shuttle. So in our case, we took a taxi from airport to Fu hua. And the driver got MOP 100 from us. He didn't give our change of MOP 40. Another, bed was very hard. I need to add one more comforter on top of it so as to make myself a little comfortable. It's like a flat surface with no foam at all. Good enough they have extra comforters and pillows inside their cabinet.

Myself and my wife stayed in this hotel from 14 to 18 november for the Macau grand prix.
I booked it in febuary to ensure we had a place to stay close to the race circuit. I requested a high floor quiet and no smoking and that is what we got.At 100 euros a night it is not cheap but being high season it was worth it. Our room was 1605,16 floor quiet and nice size room.Staff at reception very nice and passable english.Location is very good with bus stop near by.Bus travel around Macau city is manic.(pushed into bus by other commuters) very busy all times of day.Taxi in Macau are very cheap but expect to wait 30 to 45 minutes for one.All said and done
lovely hotel and city

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I think that I paid for 2 nights. The staffs didn't tell me that I paid just for 1 night.. And the next day, I can't enter my room, cause the room is locked. I was very panic. My sister went to staff room and they told to my sister that we must paid for 1 night 'again'. I think that's not effective.
I think the room was clean, but the aroma is an old wood aroma. Everything is good here
Oh ya, talking about the location, this hotel is very accessible. Near the hotel there are many restaurant and supermarket
That's enough for all. I recommend this hotel to you @Macau

You get what you pay for with Fu Hua Guang Dong because Macau is a pricey place. This hotel would fall into the cheap and cheerful category on most aspects. The rooms are comfortable and provide basic amenities. Front desk staff speaks passable English, yet most other guests we encountered were Chinese. Staff members were courteous, yet ineffective, in calling taxis. The location is in a residential area and there are no other hotels around for a couple of miles- it is well outside most tourist attractions or casino congestion. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby, but the big malls are more than walking distance away. It compensates for the lack of coffee shop in the hotel (the room manuel implies that there is one).
As others have stated, the beds are hard. There is no wifi or shuttle bus service. There was also no bathtub in room 2105 . The smell was the biggest issue the hotel had. From the moment you walk in, the hotel smells damp. The food smells from the restaurant permeated the elevator. Our room smelled like a sweaty ashtray full of chicken skin. Mold grew on the seal of the mini-fridge. There was hair on the clean towels. New toiletries were THROWN, not placed, onto the bathroom counter with no regard to the fact that the old ones had never been touched. Better upkeep would greatly improve this place.
If you just need a place to crash, Fu Hua Guang Dong Hotel fits the bill.

I chose this hotel for a one night stay as it is directly next door to an office where I had a meeting. The only other reason I would suggest this hotel over any others in Macau would be for bargain-hunters who planned to spend most of their time trawling through the Three Lamps - Red Market area, as it's close enough that they wouldn't have to keep taking taxis back with their armloads of shopping bags!
It's not in an attractive area, no views to speak of unless you are fascinated by the roof areas of mid-rise working class apartment blocks. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from here to the back of Monte Fortress / the cathedral ruins and another 5 from there down the pedestrian precinct to Senado Square. The area around the hotel suffers MAJOR gridlock during peak hours, so it is often seriously quicker to walk places than catch a cab (I lived in Macau for a number of years, so know whereof I speak).
Now the good news :-) although I was there on a Saturday and there were a number of tour groups staying there, check-in and -out were quick and efficient, with friendly staff. The room was clean, although the furniture was rather tired- looking (scratches in varnish, etc.). Although there were no no-smoking rooms or floors, there was very little smoke odour even in the bedding. The room was quiet despite the large numbers staying and the heavy traffic below. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. And, this being Macau, the neighbourhood is full of good cheap eateries with cuisines represented including Malaysian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Szechuan as well as local Cantonese.

Good sized room with on-suite washroom was great for night's rest. This hotel is about 10 minutes by cab or bus from Macau Ferry Terminal. A little bit away from Casinos, though just about 15 minutes walk to St. Paul Ruins and Armoury. Staff were peasant. Wi-Fi is slow. Towels smelled a bit humid but were replaced on request.

The lobby was somewhat grand, i think the walls and simple chandeliers were artsy. We had no problem checking in, i can just say that the front desk personnels can barely speak and understand english. Once the elevator opened, the musty smell welcomed us. It was frustrating that they didnt do anything about the bad odor. We had to deal with it everytime we passed by the hallways. The carpets were stained and the odor was strong. I was a bit relieved when we got to our room. The room was nice and the musty odor is still present but it was tolerable. I had a nice sleep though. By the way, we had a nice view of the city. The toilet was fine. I was happy that they had a hair dryer which was really useful. No complimentary breakfast so we went out to look for food. The good thing about this hotel is that it was situated near shops, stores, and restaurants. The check out was fast.

I stayed there for a night and the hotel was very comfortable and in my budget. We stayed in a triplet room, the room was small but good. There are many food joints near by the hotel so eating out was fun.

Overall satisfied.

Hi, I had taken a 3 bed room in this hotel. The bathroom was old, but it was neat. If you are staying for a day or 2 and you are looking for a budget place. I believe you can take it.

Hello and thankyou for your question. If you are not fimilar with Macau i would recommend a taxi. A very good idea is to print off a map showing hotel location i did not do this and the taxi driver brought us to many different hotels.Mast taxi drivers are from China and do not speak the local language i found this out when i phoned the hotel and handed him my phone to get directions he had no idea.Taxi in Macau are very cheap and after a day on the buses you will have no trouble getting around. Enjoy your holiday in Macau and if you are visiting one of their casinos may the luck of the irish be with you.
