The hotel is excellent. Stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. Staff are friendly, accommodating and the food was outstanding living up to expectations and media hype about the place. Spa facilities are superb. We had various massages but they were not as expected and really the operator of the Health /massage area which is not the hotel, does... More

I decided to treat myself with a one night stay in this resort due to a good reviews. The hotel has an excellent location in a quiet street in Bad Ischl, located about 5 minutes away from the center on foot and not more than 15 minutes away from the Kaiservilla on foot. I booked single room and a half-board.... More

I was in this Hotel on business, it is very centrally located. The modern hotel is combined with an old beautifully renovated villa. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the spa very nice with two steam baths - salt and aroma, an Infrared and finnisch sauna etc. I only had breakfast which was great! The hotel personel very friendly... More

Half board here for a week was wonderful. The food was varied and served by attentive but not supercilious staff. At first glace the room is a bit hard, but we were not there to be in the room but to use Bad Ischl as a touring centre. Lakes, mountains and towns. Half an hour to Hallstatt (good for a... More

Beautiful health spa hotel in Bad Ischl. The hotel is a new building and the dining room/conference center is in the old villa next door--connected by an enclosed walkway. When we walked in we were greeted by name--when asked how they knew who we were, we were told we were the only guests from a native English speaking country that... More

The place is definitely the most beautiful hotel in Bas Ischl. The Junior Suite accounts with a very large and comfortable Balcony. Be ware that they mainly speak German. There is no room service, hence, if you wish to enjoy your balcony cooling down in a summer sunset having a drink... Be sure you go first to supermarket (there is... More

Beautiful hotel that is both historic and modern in the heart of Bad Ischl. The restaurant and other meeting rooms are located in a historic, but renovated building. Most rooms are in a modern, new building attached to the historic building. Makes for a delightful inside-outside architecture. Top-notch service. Splendid breakfast buffet. In the heart of downtown and walkable to... More

This hotel was wonderful. We chose it because of TA reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff was great! Our room was perfect. The food (we were on half board) was really super--compatible to the best we have had in Austria. We didn't use the swimming/spa facilities so I have no comments about them. Bad Ischl is a charming... More

After having stayed at Villa Seilern for three weeks about four years ago, I was glad to see that during a recent two-week stay the hotel has maintained it's great atmosphere and service. Rooms are very comofrtable (I like to wooden floors best), WiFi is working perfectly, parking right outside the hotel. The gourmet food at the restaurant is of... More
