Excellent value for money. Considering it was off the main road it was set back and was surprisingly quiet. The manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. The local curry dinner was excellent. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location for visit to Kaudulla National Park.

We were a group of 8 (three families), and stayed at Habarana for three nights. This is a small but excellent hotel. We booked directly from their website and did not have to pay any advance. The owner, Mr. Nalika, is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, and tried to help us in every way to plan our trips around...

We had two nights and this beautiful guesthouse. We were welcomed with fresh lime juice on arrival and the stay continued to get better from there. The room was exceptionally clean, bathroom a little outdated but still clean. We arrived late afternoon and were served a delicious rice and curry meal for dinner (ask for sambol if you like your...

We booked and paid in advance over their website and when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation and said it was impossible that we had paid via the website (claiming the website doesn't take bookings). They didn't want to look at our booking confirmation number and insisted that if we wanted to stay we would have to pay (again)....

How this place got the trip advisor reviews it got, I will never know. It's a decent-ish price and a step up from a hostel for sure but if you're a holiday goer I'd suggest checking out another high class hotel. It's positives mainly focus on its good location which is helpful for quick day trips to the surrounding sites....

A cosy and spotlessly clean guesthouse on the outskirts of Habarana. We only stayed one night as a stopover on the way back from the East Coast, but this would be a good base to explore the various attractions in the area. It's informal, but the staff are efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money.

This hotel was pleasant enough with all the standards comforts. They helped me book a safari and transport though I definitely felt I was being pushed into more expensive options - no information was given about local buses and I was told a tuk tuk would be dangerous as some tourists were recently killed in an elephant attack. When I...

We really liked this place. Excellent value for not big money you pay. Room was very clean and all working perfectly, including high quality (Panasonic) and quiet aircon. We always got all the care without saying and fast and efficient service, which is unusual in Sri Lanka and last but not least, the food was excellent. We had one of...

We stayed here for three nights and had a very pleasant stay. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean and basic. The owner arranged a driver for the Minneriya National Park, Sigiriyi, Dambulla Cave, Ritigala and Polonnaruwa at a reasonable cost. The food was very good and we were able to try a variety of...

This is a quaint homestay that provides excellent service. The rooms were tidy & clean with a nice terrace with comfortable chairs to relax in the afternoon. We arrived in the early afternoon & were able to arrang a jeep safari with another guest in the afternoon. They also have a driver with an air conditioned car for day trips...
