I am writing this review sitting at the kitchen table in the Duck and Pug. It is our first full day here and I am so unhappy. I came here because it is suppose to be pet friendly, what a joke. There is no place for our do to go out and do her business at all. We talked to...

This guests room had not been cleaned properly, as we had a new housekeeper and the room did not get checked by management. The unit was cleaned again by the housekeeper and manager together. The guest was still not happy and so we offered her a refund, which was refused. Our property has had the plumbing upgraded and inspected, and...

We spent a week in the Upper Lakeview Suite which has an incredible view of the lake and marina. The suite is well equipped and comfortable - huge deck and lots of windows inside the suite with the same great view. Peachland is a good location for walking/hiking and has some nice restaurants & shops. If you are looking for...

We expected a beach view and beach access, but there was no view of the water (in the bunk house) and none of the cabins had access to the water as advertised. Not more dog friendly than many other places - no access to grass. No cooking facilities, no hot water kettle, or can opener - not well equipped. Additionally,...

Booked a week here due to our dog coming with us on vacation. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters. It was a decent place to stay, although the view from the deck was of a brick building, not a lake view as stated on the web site. A good place to stay if you have a pet. Be warned though,...

We've been coming to the Duck & Pug for years and it can't be beat in terms of location, service, cleanliness, and amenities. But best of all we are not treated as second-rate guests because we bring our dog with us. Nowhere else have we found a place away from home that provides the same comforts for our dog as...

We spent 7 nights in suite 2 starting June 5th, 2013 and found the unit to be clean and functional for our stay. It had been fairly recently renovated so we had no complaints regarding the facilities themselves. The location is very convenient with its proximity to the highway, shops, and a dog park. Beach Ave. is a wonderful street...

I stayed at this suite recently and it was awful. It was poorly insulated and cold, only a small heater available. No laundromat on premises or in town. The manager wanted me to keep the cold water running to prevent the pipes from freezing. Go figure. You have to duck under the bunk bed to sit on the sofa and...

When we were evacuated during the Peachland fire Irene and Hugh Simpson made their Lucky Duck suite available to us. What a charming unit with so much thought given to the decor!!! and the hosts were very friendly and charming. I would not hesitate to recommend the Duck and Pug to anyone vacationing in Peachland or looking for a night's...

We stayed at the Duck & Pug while looking for a home. We are planning on moving to the okanagan, and stayed in Peachland while we checked out properties in Summerland & Naramata. The hosts (Irene & Hugh) are both very nice people and we will stay again. They are pet friendly and supply doggy towels and a bag of...

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the tiny but functional Boathouse. As campers and backpackers, the luxury of having a small fridge, hot shower and comfy bunk bed were well appreciated. With a new puppy in the family, we couldn't do our normal canoeing, hiking and camping holiday. We loved the eclectic decorating, view of the marina and lake...
