Nice hotel to do some half-day or day hiking trips. We were there with 5 adults and 6 children, and we really appreciated the hotel facilities (indoor and outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, jacuzzi, ...) during a more rainy day. Nice food at the end of the day, and a lovely bar to have a family gathering during the evening...

Stayed here first night and then last night of week's hiking tour of the beautiful Parc Vanoise. Sweet eccentric décor but very comfortable, and the nicest, most friendly staff you could hope for. A small swimming pool and charming terrace area out front overlooking the incredible mountains makes it a wonderful place to sit and have a cold beer ....

This was the third time I stayed at this hotel, and this is definitely a very nice place, I'm looking forward to go back there: the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is great, with an extensive wine list, almost everything, even the jams at breakfast, is home-made, by a "Maître-Restaurateur", the facilities (swimming pools, indoor or outdoor,...

We stayed 2 nights, This is a freindly and welcoming hotel, great food and sowewhat idiosyncratic - Oh it is a logis.....!- it's a nice place to stay - the facilities and welcome outstrip its star ranking, which I suspect is based on the somewhat 'french' corridors - would I return? - YES!

By far the most welcoming hotel we have ever stayed at, this family run hotel made our week there delightful. The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable and more importantly very quiet. The swimming pool was good to use after a day out in the mountains. It was the friendliness and service which was particularly outstanding and the reason that...

We stayed for 5 nights in Jly 2012. the village is in a great location with marvelous scenery and walks. very beautiful and tranquil. the hotel was very basic and needs investment. Our room had a great view but the balcony chairs were too grubby to sit on. The bathroom needed replacement. The stairs had lights on a timer and...

This is a lovely pell-mell of a hotel set in wonderful Pralognan-la-Vanoise. The decor is a bit rustic and kitchy yet the main goal of staying here is you have to stay in the remodeled half of the building. The first night we stayed there and had small, yet clean rooms with a separate suite and nice balcony. Decor was...

Pralognan is in the heart of the Vanoise National Parc in the mountainous Savoie area near mont Blanc. The town is squeezed in the valley, one of the most beautiful of the Alps. The people at the Grand Bec hotel make the stay a great pleasure, this is true hospitality - making sure the guests are comfortable. We stayed in...
