A lovely traditional restaurant with rooms. The Kellerwirt call themselves an Inn, which is a good description. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms in the Annex have all been refurbished and offer a very comfortable bed, I believe slightly bigger than the normal Austrian twin. The rooms mainly have nice views, are spacious and have everything you...

Very traditional hotel, nice friendly helpful people. Bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally nice, wasn't expecting such modern bedroom and bathroom, really enjoyed getting ready here. Nice balcony with exceptionally nice views of mountains but also of the pretty little garden. Had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both, nice fresh food. Hotel is perfectly situated for village, and has parking on...

The rooms are new and have the right size. The rooms are very clean and complete. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The 700 year old building is an experience, great. The sauna's were old fashioned and not proper working. We missed the typical Austrian atmosphere.

Oberau is a pretty little village in the heart of the Austrian Alps dominated by it's beautiful church. Nestling opposite is the outstanding Hotel Kellerwirt - frequented by members of the British Royal Family and mere mortals as well and until recently overseen by the lovely Hans Keller. Our experiences of the hotel are of it's lovely restaurant - summers...

I have stayed at the Kellerwirt many times over the years for skiing holidays. The first time I stayed, Hans, Claudia and the whole Keller family made us so welcome, that for the first time ever, I decided I wanted to return to the same place for my skiing holiday the following year. Since then it’s been an annual event...

Have been and stayed both at the guest house and in the apartments and can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere else with the same atmosphere, love and care! The family who run it are beyond incredible and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. If I could live there I would!

We stayed at the Kellerwirt apartments for a week recently - just down the hill from the Kellerwirt and just across the road from the ski school, ski hire place and lifts. We had a lovely warm greeting from the staff (at the busiest time of the year) and our apartment had everything we need - very well equipped indeed;...

Lovely, and very old, building. There was a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were friendly and efficient. We spent a sunny afternoon on the terrace enjoying a beer and a delicious "Kaiserschmarrn" (enormous sugared pancake affair with stewed plums - one portion was enough for two!). Do explore the interior of the building - we went inside and it is...

I was staying here as part of a ski package with Inghams. I had been looking for somewhere quieter to stay instead of the one of the main towns (such as Auffach or Neiderau) and Oberau fitted the bill perfectly. Herr Keller was a very welcoming and helpful host and along with the rest of the staff made my stay...

A really nice place. The hotel is completed in an old cozy Austrian style. There is a relaxed atmosphere, waiters as most are young girls, is one of the sweetest and nicest I've experienced in a hotel / restaurant. The rooms are medium. The food is super delicious in the appropriate potions. We have been guests there for a few...
