What a lovely surprise this was! We stayed in March 2017 and the grounds were still beautiful - looking forward to going back in the summer to see the gardens in bloom. We walked all around the estate admiring the landscaping and trees. The accommodation was lovely. Our room overlooked the lake and we couldn't have asked for better. The...

We stayed here recently and had a very nice stay. Dinner was lovely (we just opted for bar food as we weren't too hungry) and the bar man was nice and polite. Starters were lovely and we enjoyed our steaks. We had a room overlooking a little courtyard and had a lovely view of the grounds when we came out...

We had our wedding at Lough Rynn Castle and we can truly say that this was one of the best, if not THE best, day of our lives. From the moment we first visit the Castle till the day of the wedding everything was perfect. I can not praise Ruth and Pamela, the wedding coordinators, enough. Ruth has been looking...

We stayed here for 2 nights last week and we were so sorry to leave. The staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. They were friendly without being intrusive. We had a large room with equally large bathroom. Only thing I would have preferred was that I would have preferred a room with more daylight. The...

Very nice place, lovely rooms, lovely food, lovely staff But......... the bar service is atrocious, this is the second time we were here during weddings, one or two staff serving never seen anything like it. We were charged €11.40 each round of drinks then on the 4th round it jumped...

We stayed overnight here. We found the staff and the hotel superb. The gardens and walks by the lake are second to none. Had a very relaxing time. Our evening meal in the bar was not so good. My wife had roast of the day and while we were told the beef was medium it was well done and it appeared...

Pleasant check-in. Stayed in the courtyard not in the castle - Room 408 is a lovely big bedroom with a lovely big bathroom. The bed is ever so comfortable and the shower head is the size of a dinner plate. There are nice places to sit in the castle and have bar food. The bar food is good, not very...

Lough Rynn was perfect for a peaceful getaway....we just relaxed, took a nice long walk and then relaxed some more over some hot toddy in the drawing room and read the paper....and then had dinner in the award winning Sandstone restaurant. That was a wonderful meal. Every bite was delightful. We ate from the €65 menu. Had both french Sauvingnon...
