Cherating Beach seems to perch on the east coast of Malaysia. Overall excellent visit - food, accommodation [some rooms a little 'tired'], amenities, activities good. Can be a little over crowded particularly during conferences. Staff very accommodating and excellent at their job. Pool areas, particularly the adult pool, well serviced/clean and comfortable. Shuttle to the adult pool, sailing, beach area very helpful.

This club was not maintained with bad room and food quality. Not worth the money to spent on the stay here. overall experience in terms of the acivities are good but you are a person who like to outdoor activites is worth for kids and family.

First time in Club Med with the family. Love it and would definitely come back! My son love it and love the activities plan for adults and kids. Wish I would utilize the Mini Club Med (le petit) better but I am just happy to spend time with him by the beach. Maybe improve the train timing to the beach to every 15 minutes. And probably have teh tarik all day long.

1) Flies are everywhere in the restaurant. Can’t even dine in peacefully. And by the way, had some fish all with expired taste. Switch out seat to other corner, dripping water from air-conditioner. Leftover foods on floor seems unseen. 2) Housekeeper will take an hour to reach you. 3) They charged RM120 corkage for wine that self bring even though u consumed at hotel room, perhaps they don’t even know how awful are their selections of wine selection. 4) Worst cocktails, corked wine served. 5) Humiliated by a bartender, what kind of HR would hire such lowly man? 6) Significant wear and tear condition of the room, eerie level 10/10.

We stayed at Club Med Cherating between 28-31 May 2023. Our gratitudes to: 1. Ali (Sports Manager) for listening to our honest feedback on restaurant hygiene and room cleanliness, and he booked us a table for Rembulan Restaurant and upgraded our room to sea view room from 2nd nights onwards. 2. Kawi for being an awesome rock climbing guide to lead us till the peak and come down safely. 3. Macy, Rachel and her Mini Club teammates for taking care our two-year-old during our stays. Our wonderful stays were destroyed by: 1. Delayed of luggages transfer which causing some items were “stolen” by monkey, allegedly. 2. Terrible housekeeping and room hygiene, causing the adult’s eyes and body are itching with mild rash. Worse still, causing infection in our baby’s left eye lid. 3. Flies in the main buffet restaurant. The fly can simply drown in my orange juice when I was away just for minutes to get some food. 4. Bad resort maintenance. Leaking along the corridors and aircond unit. Not hot water shower on 29 May 2023 between 8pm until 4am. Electricity was cut off in the middle of the heating night around 3 am, 30 May 2023. Bad door locks from keeping the monkey to intrude. 5. Lousy parking lot. No tar and shelter at all.…

This is the place to be if you want to have a hassle-free, completely relaxing beach holiday experience. Activities organised are fun and exciting. GOs there are really friendly, helpful and professional. They all made sure we were all well taken care of, checking on us from time to time. Special shoutouts to Jeevan whom we met at the archery station. He gave my mum a lighter bow after knowing she has a sore arm which made my mom really happy. And GO John for serenading all of us with his beautiful voice at the bar area.

Rembulan Restaurant Foremost, the highlight was the the Restaurant GO, Mr Edmund and his team. They were so attentive throughout our stay that we had 1 lunch & 2 dinner at Rembulan. Service is immaculate and attention to detail. When there’s mosquitoes, Mr Edmund furnish us with mosquito repellant. The food is fresh and imaginative .

It was the best ever 10 star experience at a holiday resort, jam packed with loads of activities, spoilt for choice with yummy food and an amazing Ali the GM and the amazing team who are all rockstars in my books, from morning to night they keep dishing out their energy, their smiles, and i wonder how they keep doing it so effortlessly!. Initial room given was not cool but a change was given to us with an added cooler. Seaside view was pretty. Facilities remain well kept but pity the tree top challenge is no more. Special shout out to our favourite Phoebe, Adib, Pei Ern, Jeevan and last but not least, Sasi.
