The entrance & bar area is tasteful and nicely set up, but service and food definitely requires an upgrade. For a Vegetarian burger they offered a Barbecue Sauce with a flavor of smoked ham. The bun and lettuce was completely soaked and half of the fries was raw. When the waitress asked how the dish was and I explained the situation she shrugged with the shoulders and cleared the table. The lady at the reception was also not interested in our complaint. Since we are talking about a respective hotel they should show interest in their guests and take the concerns seriously. The food was rather 2 stars and not really digestible.

In front of their resort they have a small cafe. You can’t pay here with card only cash. Doesn’t sound logic in 2022. Also the two ladies serving were not sympathic and are smoking next to the bar. If the resort is also like this it’s better to avoid this totally.

We are used to luxury hotels. This was supposed to be a very good one. Unfortunately, for 3000 euros for 6 nights, we ended up semi-burried in a very old room, with direct view on the street on one side and on a wall on the other side. Condition of the bathroom was also terrible, old shower and broken sink. We complaine. The staff acknowledged it is the worst room but still, they didn’t offer any solution and they will keep selling it again and again to future visitors. A shame.

When you are staying in Lermoos or just passing by, one can not miss Mohr Life Resort. At the lift, they have their own ski-locker, the staff live in a building with a large sign of staff resort, their parking includes Tesla chargers and scooters and the size of 2500 m2 is just enormous for a small village like this. When you arrive you notice that they want to be upmarket, but they go wrong in the details which matter for places like this. The staff at the reception is not all as client friendly and master foreign languages as expected, a welcome champagne, water or juice sounds nice, but not when you need to pour it yourself, the towels in the spa/beauty place are small and do not have a luxury feel and the buffers are not necessarily having all the healthy options one expect from this ‘health & beauty’ resort. Book your treatments well in advance as it can get busy and be selective who you want to be your beautician. Also, bear in mind, currently construction is ongoing, which is clearly visible and can be heard in the hotel & treatment rooms (not very relaxing!). Also in the garden, screens are placed to cover up for the construction of the (supposedly new) swimming pool. Classes are being taught during the day which you can enjoy, but also here, quality varies. Please note there is a house cat, in case you are allergic. Guests are a mix of Germans for day or weekend, couples, friends and families. The eye for detail translates in not too upmarket material used in the construction, staff at the (spa) reception who wear their own (sports?) clothes and cheaper looking, but pretending to be luxurious design. There is a market out there who likes the idea of a four star life style resort, but people - like me - had higher hopes on the execution.…

relax, relax, relax - I was treated to Mohr for my birthday by my girlfriend. We stayed for two nights and everything was lovely. We could use the spa on the arrival day, it was not too busy. The spa itself is great - the food - morning - lunch - and evening are superb. great selection of wines etc. If you get the chance - go there. It was quite fully booked all the time when we wanted to go again - so book in advance.

We returned to the Mohr after 6 years for the second time. The first time we had a room in the old part which was quite old-fashioned, so we were very happy to stay in the new part in a beautiful corner suite this time. The room was spacious and modern and had a stunning view of the Zugspitze. The food was wonderful, starting with a vast breakfast buffet, a small lunch buffet and an absolute delicious dinner. The Spa is beautiful with several saunas and an indoor and outdoor pool. It gets very busy during the weekend so we were not able to find a lounger and I think the management has to do more than just put signs up, that it is not allowed to reserve loungers, since everyone knows once they give up there lounger while going to the sauna they will not find anything to lay down afterwards. They had several sport activities during the day where we participated but we were a little disappointed that there was nothing offered on Sunday morning.…

We had our 4th visit to the Mohr Resort in January 2017. Our first visit was in 2009, when our children were 9 and 12 we where living in Switzerland and chose an Austrian ski holiday after experiencing years of very substandard service at ski resorts there. In Autumn 2010 we treated ourselves to a holiday at the Mohr before returning to Australia to live. We have since returned twice while visiting relatives in Switzerland. Our children are now 15 and 18 and the Mohr is our family favourite. Situated centrally in the lovely picturesque town of Lermoos it is only a short walk to the lifts, the ski runs are numerous and are well prepared, even prior to big snow fall in January, with a skiable man made run. There are plenty of walking paths for non skiers and is close to the train for a day trip to the lovely German town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In Autumn we enjoyed the numerous outdoor activities in and around Lermoos. We have stayed in both the older chalet style rooms and the stylish new rooms, all are clean and comfortable and most with lovely views across the valley. The pool and spa area of the hotel is a wonderful retreat at the end of the day, even better during the day when the non-skier (me) had the entire area to myself. The restaurant menu every evening caters for all tastes, with a variety to select from including vegetarian (the deserts fabulous). The breakfast buffet is fresh, plentiful and offers a delicious variety of food. All in all, from the first glass of champagne offered upon check-in, to the small parting gift, the Mohr is a place we always promise to come back to. Could be great, but only is average. The huge potential consists of the great surrounding area with the zugspitze, very nice wellness area and outdoor infrastructure, mostly nice interior design (with some really ugly glitches) and some food highlights. But then, why just average? It started with a very lazy and indifferent check in, went on to a strange room (family lodge) that was a tragic accident of 80ies relicts and awkward kitsch. Staff was between very friendly and helpful to "i don´t give a ... stupid tourist". And finally the good things about food (mainly the main dishes of the dinner) were ruined by the rest consisting of very boring and uninspiring intermediate courses (they advertise it as 5 courses, but in the end its a very good main dish with some ballyhoo before and after) and buffets with the same old story as seen a thousand times before.…
