Wonderful stay at this 300 year old family owned inn. The inn is located minutes from the train station in Lermoos, which is only a couple hours by train from Munich. The building is quaint and charming from the outside, with very tasteful and classy decor on the inside. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains in every direction. The ski slopes and lifts are literally outside the door. Our host Ben was very friendly and served us in the small but cosy bar the best natural wines we've ever had. The bar has a very local vibe with seasonal and locally produced snacks. We got freshly baked breads delivered to the door in the mornings too! The spa in the cellar was a great luxurious surprise with its old stone arches and newly renovated saunas. We'll be back.

Perfect location if travelling with children. They have a playroom for kids on the top floor, bikes accessible for all ages and an outdoor playground just minutes from the hotel. The rooms were well equipped for making dinner if you decide to stay in for the evening but you also have the option of eating meals prepared by the staff (highly recommend the breakfast) while enjoying beautiful views on the terrace. We were there during the summer to hike but are already planning a return trip during ski season.

Excellent stay for dog owners at the Jagdschloss
Our stay at the Jagdschloss opposite the Zugspitze was really enjoyable, especially for us as dog owners. The location overlooking the Zugspitze gives this place a special atmosphere.
The breakfast was outstanding every morning and set us up for our days of adventure. The variety and quality of the food was remarkable.
What made this stay special was the dog-friendly atmosphere. Our dog was warmly welcomed and there were even special amenities for dogs, which made our stay very enjoyable.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and their recommendations for activities in the area were very useful.
Overall, our stay at the Jagdschloss was a great experience, especially for dog owners like us. We would highly recommend it to other travelers and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality!

We stayed in the hotel's largest apartment with a group of friends for a weekend. The hotel retains the traditional style of the exterior, is richly detailed and tastefully decorated, yet comfortable (cozy beds, underfloor heating) and exceptionally clean. Hotel management and team create a family atmosphere, are courteous and helpful. Feeling good is easy. The imputed location overlooking the Bergwerlt does the rest.

We had the best stay at the Ansitz Felsenheim for six nights. The Ansitz is an absolute gem and I will never forget our experience! We loved our stay so much and could have easily spent an entire month in the Ansitz enjoying all that the area has to offer. We loved being surrounded by the dramatic mountains and coming back to the amazing served to us by Benedikt, the owner-operator, at the hotel. We decided to stay in Lermoos because of the amazing hotel and its proximity to great outdoor activities and cute Tyrolian and Bavarian Villages. The town of Lermoos is also wonderful. The hotel is within walking distance to a few other great restaurants. The Ansitz has great old-world character and feels full of love. The hotel is lovingly maintained and balances staying true to its character alongside chic, cozy decor. The breakfast room is incredibly chic and I loved the laid back lounge music that played all day.

What set our trip apart was the proprietor Benedikt. He and his staff attended to our every need with gracious hospitality. He oriented us to the area and gave us great tips and resources. The breakfast was incredibly creative and thoughtful. Every morning we enjoyed coffee, cheese, vegetables, fruit, jams, eggs. The quality and creativity was unlike anything I have ever seen in a hotel breakfast. Benedikt is a trained chef and cooked dinner for the hotel on Saturday night. Highly recommend participating in that if you can get the schedule to line up! Benedikt pours his heart and soul into his work and genuinely cares about people.

Wow, what an outstanding review. You can't imagine how happy we are about what you wrote about our aparthotel and about Benedikt's hospitality (you can imagine that your words made me feel a really proud mum). Thank you so much for sharing your experience also with other guests. We would love to see you again one day in Felsenheim. We send you our warmest regards from Felsenheims team.

The apartment was great, room for everyone: parents, parents-in-law and the two older children! We felt more at home than we have ever felt before. The welcome was incredibly warm and accommodating and during our entire stay we were looked after by the entire apart-hotel team in a way that I have rarely experienced. The shared breakfast with freshly squeezed juices, homemade spreads and individual requests was the perfect start to the day every morning. The wellness area is also particularly worth mentioning, we will definitely come back. Thank you very much :)

Great ambience, with excellent and family-like service. The breakfast is a real insider tip, with homemade and regional products. The rooms are furnished in a modern and traditional style at the same time. A small private kitchen is perfect for spontaneous and flexible activities in the Alpine region.

What a great experience to be a guest at Ansitz Felsenheim! From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left, we were pampered and were able to enjoy our stay in every way. The owners, the Kössler family, give you the feeling of being "a friend" who you have known for a long time and who are simply very welcome. The excellent breakfast (on request) and the dinner that his son Benedikt and his team conjure up must be highlighted. He is not only a master in the kitchen, but also as a host. His cheerful, friendly and straightforward manner is the icing on the cake.
We will be back!!!!

The Ansitz Felsenheim is an absolute gem. This gorgeous 300 year old, impeccably renovated lodge is loaded with Austrian charm, friendly staff, incredible dinners, and stunning views. Our family of 4 stayed in the Hofer
Suite. It was always cool in the heat of June. We truly enjoyed the tranquility. With a private entrance, cozy living room, stocked kitchen, and patio loaded with fragrant roses this lodge was a wonderful experience. We will be back!

Our experience was again fantastic! We have been coming here for several years and keep discovering new aspects that make this place so special.

You will find everything needed for a relaxing stay!
The warm welcome made us feel immediately welcome and at home. The beautiful and quiet room offers every comfort. The small, atmospheric bar is perfect for enjoying an aperitif. The breathtaking view of the Zugspitze added another dimension.
The Supperclub is a great culinary experience where you are overwhelmed by the chef's creative dishes. Highly recommended for foodies!
This location is also an excellent base for several beautiful walks. We are constantly discovering new routes in the area. In addition, it is ideally located for trips to Garmisch and Innsbruck.

In short, this place is ideal for fully recharging the batteries. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Irina - Belgium
