Been there many times over the past years. Tremendous good located hotel. With a fantastic view over the whole area and directly to the iconic Zügspitze. Nearly all rooms have a fantastic balcony there you can enjoy the spectacular view. Very nice hotel, in typical Tiroler style. Typical Tiroler food, very solid and plenty of it. Good spacious rooms, good and clean bathroom. Nice wellness area with sauna, stem bath, massage ect. Free internet, high service form a international speaking staff. I love the area, summer and winter, nice skiing area, not to crowded and no Russian NICE.

If you are looking for a warm, cosy hotel decorated in typical tyrolean style but where the service is second to none, food is fabulous and staff anticipate your needs, work tirelessly yet discreetly and always with good humour then this is the hotel for you.
We arrived in lermoos by train from Munich and were met by the hotel at the station. It was dark, snowing and we were shattered. We received the warmest welcome and the tone of our stay was set by being told "welcome to our house".
The dining room is exquisite - beautiful crisp table linen, candles even at breakfast and food presentation and quality superb.
Children are well catered for and our five year old had a great time. Special children s menus which change daily, playroom downstairs and when it was our daughter's birthday Hans and his team pulled out all the stops and she arrived at dinner to be met with balloons, streamers, gifts and an awesome cake.
All in all think fabulous quality in a relaxed environment.

My friends and I spent a wonderful 3 nights in this hotel. Checking us into our 7 rooms appeared a little chaotic in the beginning; but the staff exuded an aura of friendliness and helpfulness, served us a drink on the house, and sorted us into our rooms in no time.
All our rooms were very charming and comfortable, and I even had a wonderful plate of homemade cookies in my small sitting area.
We had all booked a breakfast & dinner arrangement, and with our full day skiing excursions we are all happy with the idea of not having to search for a restaurant at the end of the day.
Food was plentiful and well prepared, both mornings and evenings, and we were so happy with the hotel and the staff that we happily spent our après-ski evenings at the hotel bar, enjoying very drinkable Austrian wine without any morning-after ill-effects! ;-)
(this might sound boring, but we were in a age range of 40-55 so we were not looking for disco music and hard alcohol).
We all enjoyed our stay, and the skiing slopes for what they were (some challenging enough!) and if I ever come back to Lermoos, I see no reason to look for another place to stay!

we went to Zugspitte because of a recommendation by friends but it did not do justice to this small hotel. From the moment we walked in we were treated like family. Elizabeth the host could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The view of the moutain was spectacular and a pleasure to sit and look over while drinking great austrian wine. The attention to detail was amazing to the sweets in the room, and the table decorations which changed every day. The small staff were helpful but it was the energy and enthusiasm of the hostess which set this place apart. From the walk up the nearby hill to watch the sunrise over mount Zugspitte accompanied by sparkling wine and breakfast, to the gala dinner with wine tasting with informed detail about the different wines, nothing was too much trouble. Quite simply this place was amazing and I would recommend it to everyone, we certainly will be returning and will think of them everytime we look at the gift we received as we left.

Wow ..... what a great hotel, food was fantastic and room was beautiful.
Staff could not do enough to help and assist, and special praise to Elizabeth who was not only the receptionist but also the hostess with the mostess, she even took guests out on local walks ...thank you Elizabeth they where wonderful. We have travelled the world and it's not often you find such a gem of a hotel. OK it's not 5 star, but in service and comfort and hospitality we would give it 5 star plus. Nothing to much trouble for them , even food and drinks laid on for you in the afternoon should you wish to partake.
We used the sauna and the maussear, and between hiking sunbathed on the patio with breathtaking views around us. This hotel could teach a lot of other hotels how you should run a great gem of a hotel ...well done Elizabeth, Hans and Peter for all your work and devotion to making this hotel a gem.

We stumbled across this lovely small hotel when we had a weekend to kill between flights into Munich airport. Only an hour and half down the autobahn and we were in the mountains of Austria. Our room had a small balcony directly overlooking the pinnacle of the Zugspitze and the valley of Lermoos. The owner told us apologetically that dinner would be a fixed menu that night, then proceeded to serve us an excellent six-course meal. The breakfast the next morning was equally generous. All this for a very reasonable room rate. We look forward to the opportunity to go back there.

Claims to be also a Cafe, but when we arrived at 4pm today we were told in a very abrupt way, no we cannot get a coffee.
Yes, they just had a bus of guest arrive, but that was for the hotel and not the restaurant /cafe, so not even being able to serve coffee is very poor.

Traditional family run establishment with wonderful ever-changing views of Zugspitze.

Comfortable wood panelled bedrooms (typical “Austrian Twin” format) with a safe and a fridge (Upgraded as booked direct). Sunny outdoor terrace. Friendly staff.

Excellent half board option at 20€ pp - Five course evening meal (with choice of two meat, one fish or one veggie main) and includes lunch “snack” (eg sausage and chips) – Good breakfast spread – Reasonably priced drinks.

On the outskirts of Lermoos in very quiet location (due to through traffic using the tunnel bypass). However need a car to explore the area as bus/rail links not as interconnected as those in Switzerland.
