We were welcomed by the owner. Staff were all very pleasant and efficient - especially Attila in the Dining room. Food was excellent. Good choice at breakfast and dinner (we were half board). Breakfast is a buffet. Dinner - buffet salad, soup served to the table, main course chosen in the morning for that evening and served to the table, then choice of sweets from the buffet. Our en-suite room was huge with a small wooden balcony, having a side view of a mountain. Always plenty of hot water (for bath or shower). It is worth taking a travel kettle and the makings if you like a hot drink in your room as this facility is not provided as is the case in many hotels in Europe. There was a wellness centre in the hotel. We used the pool and jacuzzi - free pool towels provided. There was also a small outdoor pool, but appeared to be used more like an outdoor jacuzzi rather than a swimming pool. In addition there was a sauna. Sadly we didn’t have time to have a massage or manicure - available at additional cost.

I stayed at this hotel in 1964 with my parents. It was much smaller then, but the magic hasn't been lost with its growth. It is an easy walk from Lermoos rail station, and also close to local buses. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the food excellent. Staff are all friendly and helpful, especially Sonja in the dining room. The pool area is great, and there is a lovely outdoor area for sunbathing if it's not as hot as it was when we were there! The area of the Zugspitze Arena is just stunning. My favourite place in the world.

A Fantastic Hotel, We were on a 8 day coach trip with a night in Metz each way We had a balcony room with mountain view. The room was clean with loads of storage space. A large TV only one English channel but we were not there to watch tv. The food was excellent with a salad starter, followed by soup of the day, then your main meal was a pick from 4/5 choices which you picked in the morning, followed by a choice of sweet help your self, and if you had room cheese and bread, Drinks were very reasonable priced and a very good selection. The hotel is very well laid out but you have to make sure you use the right lift we came in one day through the carpark to find the swimming pool then went up to our room on the third floor in the lift only to find you cannot get to all of the third floor with that lift so had to find another way no real problem but something to watch for, There are two swimming pools both heated the indoor one is fantastic large with a side piece with a sort of water jet also a hot tub. The out side pool is small and has seating on three sides again heated but it is a fantastic place to sit and look at the mountains. there is a sauna but we did not use it. There is plenty of space to sit and chat inside and outside with a large sun terrace by the pool. The staff were great nothing was to much trouble a real credit to the Hotel. The railway station is a short walk from the hotel so great if you do not drive. This hotel is well sited for the many walking trails and cable cars. I can honestly say in 20+ years of continental travel this Hotel is the best one we have stayed in

This is a lovely hotel, located within the Tirol area along the Austrian / German border. We had a good sized family room, with an awe inspiring view of the mountains which are the backdrop to the village of Lermoos. The hotel does half board rates, which meant with the room, we got breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet has a large amount of choice and we were able to have enough to eat to get us through to dinner. The dinner was a set menu of approximately 4 choices for the main, with a buffet for starters, salads and desserts. We had a set table within the conservatory area, again with a spectacular view of the mountains. The hotel has a swimming pool, a spa, a bar and a good sized lounge to relax with friends. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the area. We felt very well looks after and enjoyed our time here very much. We visited in summer and there is plenty to do in the area, including riding the cable cars from Lermoos and taking in the views over the village. Can’t wait to visit again :)

The staff are friendly and attentive to the details. The property is a true 4 star hotel in all. The relaxation and spa area is above every expectation If it were more painful it would be worth it. I just think we'll be back

On our way to Varenna at Lake Como, we made a stopover at Hotel Edelweiss in Lermoos, Austria. What we fpund, was a lovely 4-star establishment with great rooms, great service and good food. And on top of all that, the price for one night, breakfast included, was fair, to say the least! Or how would you describe a treat like this - 3 rooms for one night at 60 euro each? My overall rating is "very good" - probably would have been "Excellent", had vi stayed a couple of nights more!

If you are sportive this hotel is for you: you are walking distance to the ski slopes, there are cross-country skiing tracks nearby, a pool at the hotel and a sauna for relaxing. If you are very much into fancy food, this hotel is then less for you: the buffet is fine but nothing special.

We stayed for a few nights at this very nice hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was very good. The wellness area is large with a great swimming pool. It is perfect location to access the slopes.

Good traditional Austrian food an with fair prices. Even cheap given quality of the food. If I'm back in Lermoos I'll be here again. Think the hotel prices are too high. Swimming pool looks good but haven't visited it.

I stayed at this hotel as a base hotel for a week long trip to Bavaria and The Tyrol. As a single traveller I expected a single room which I got. However the bed had some slats in the base missing and it was like sleeping in a hole. On more positive note, the food was excellent with plenty of choice, although I didn't indulge they also have a swimming pool/sauna area that is free to all guests. The hotel provided local basic entertainment in the bar area on two nights which was welcome. However, the service at the bar in the evening was non-existent as most staff were in the restaurant.
