After a very long day traveling from the UK we arrived in Champery to a filthy apartment, no where else to stay in that village as fully booked so we headed over to Morgins. We received a super welcome from Jane at The Helvetia and a fabulous room for us. We had a lovely duplex room with the kids upstairs....

We rented the penthouse for 4 nights, with the four bedrooms (each with their own bathroom and balcony/view) and the wonderful huge sitting room/open kitchen with the amazing view and fireplace. We all felt that the price/quality ratio was superb, considering the luxury conditions. It was wonderful for the kids (3 and 1.5 years' old) as there was plenty of...

We stopped here on a cold-call visit on a Thursday evening in June 2015 while driving from France to Germany and had no trouble getting a room for CHF 165 ($182). The hotel is Swiss modern, well laid out, extremely solidly built, and quiet, with very attractive modern minimalist wood decor. It is very close on foot to numerous restaurants,...

We went skiing for a week in Morgins, and stayed in Helvetia. It looks lovely, rooms are simple but classy. The ski lift is five minutes up the hill, but it's possible to ski almost back to the hotel. One day the lift was closed, Martial drove us to another open lift. My friends have stayed there before, I think...

This hotel has a great location, it's just a five minute walk from the closest ski lift. The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable, the facilities are also great (it's nice to have a relaxing sauna after a hard day skiing). It's the perfect hotel for a long weekend of skiing as it's only an...

Modern hotel at walking distance from the chairlift. Rooms a bit austere and sparsely lit, but good quality and finish. Good sound proofing so little noise from other guests. Small but well equipped spa for relaxation between skiing and dinner. Good breakfast. Overall experience very good.
