stayed overnight on family trip around the North Island. Room was clean and tidy we had a family room which had a separate room with two single beds for the kids and the main room had cooking facilities and two single beds for the adults. Would recommend this place to stay.

We stayed here for one night at the end of biking the Hauraki Rail Trail. The motel was spotlessly clean and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. We locked our bikes in his shed overnight and he kindly held our baggage until 4pm when the shuttle was due to collect us. He advised us on a number of places...

The motel has been around a long time, no doubt of that and its decor reflects that - yet it offers you a bit of a difference and ones we certainly enjoyed. Everything fro little packet of insect repellent to chocolates and mints (strategically placed under a small non-smoking sign), make-up removal wipes to two packets of biscuits even. While...

We stayed at the Te Aroha Motel for five nights, We found the unit exceptionally clean and well serviced with some nice little touches of free stuff, soap, shampoo etc. The hosts were wonderrful and gave us maps and showed us places of interest and a lot of historical information. We would not hesitate to recommend this Motel to others....

This is a great little motel, right in the centre of town. Altough the rooms are a little dated they are spotlessly clean. Our room had a double and a single bed that were comfortable but our preference would have been to just have a queen or king bed. We had a front room facing the lawn, which is preferable...

As other reviewers have noted this motel is impeccably clean and in an excellent location. It is handy to the Hauraki bike trail, shops and the beautiful domain. It was very hot the day I biked one leg of the trail and the thoughtful owners had turned on the aircon before I returned. Enjoyed the chocolates and biscuits too. I...

Visiting family in Te Aroha and stayed again at this excellent motel. It was very very hot and when we arrived in the early evening, the fantastic hosts had already put on the air conditioning so the room was perfect and refreshing. Have stayed here a couple of times and most of all think the cleanliness is unbeatable and unmatched...

This motel has a great handy location, close to hot pools, a great pub for meals across the road, shops very close. The room had kitchen facilities, a great bathroom, and everything you might need, with some very thoughtful extras too. My only concerns were the bed was too hard, and the manager's weren't living on the premises. While they...

Three of us stayed here when we did the Hauraki Rail Trail. Spotlessly clean, cheerfully decorated, comfy beds, quiet, great location. Friendly, helpful hosts. They've made a big effort to make this a great place to stay - and it is. Highly recommended.
