Staying here was like staying with a long lost aunt...the host went over and above offering us a home made soup as we arrived late, the house and facilities were spick-and-spam clean and tidy, the property very well maintained and clean, and the electric blanket...More

Shirley is a lovely host - very friendly and accommodating and really looks after you. Facilities are very clean and comfy. Lovely to sit on the deck with view of garden and mountain and enjoy the hospitality. Nice breakfast too. Would highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Te Aroha and Shirley did a loverly job looking after us. The rooms are very clean n tidy. Shirley has travelled the world and loves to talk about interesting adventures. Be warned the breakfasts are huge n very yummy.

Second time we've stayed here. Love the peace and quiet, view of the mountain, cooked breakfast, comfy bed and Shirley who is an excellent host and provides snacks on arrival. Proximity to hot pools a plus.

I cannot recall the charges for one night but it was reasonable....yes there is a large breakfast provided and you have a private bathroom...make sure if you go arrange a visit to the soda springs
