We did this as a day trip and had a wonderful time. Not a lot of amenities, but amazing beaches, lovely water. For lunch we stopped at the little town, fish and chip place on the lake. It was nice, if a bit expensive.

Long Point is an amazing place to Camp with the family! We go every summer with out pop up trailer and family. Staying near the beach is awesome. Swimming and the beautiful beach are only minutes form your campsite. Great campsites with plenty of space, trees and privacy. Camping near the beach is great because you have sand as the...

One of the best white water sand beach near GTA. Amazing crystal clear water with no rocks. Just make sure to go towards the park where it has paid parking since that's the place where its clean and good crowd. Water is also not too deep and one can easily go much inside the lake. You can do camping and...

I've stayed twice at this park, both times in the early fall at the Firefly loop. The sites in that area are very open. Not too much privacy but easy to get a trailer in and out of. The park is only about 300 meters wide so it is easy to get to the beach from any site. I didn't...

We had heard much about Long Point and were really looking forward to our stay over the 2016 labour day weekend. Unfortunately the park was infested with flies that looked like common houseflies but had a heck of a bite. We thought that the flies may have been due to the time of year but another camper told us he...

This is really a fantastic place to camp! Peaceful & Gorgeous. We stayed in our tent at Cottonwood (Monarch & Turtle would offer similar sites) with the beach right behind our campsite. You could hear the waves all night, very much like being at the ocean. And the beach is as good as many ocean resorts that I've been to....

We have visited Long Point many times over the years but this was our first time camping. Park staff had us signed in and off to our site quickly. Our site was MASSIVE, we have a 33' travel trailer and full size pickup and we could have easily fit another unit and vehicle on our site. My only complaint would...

Camped in the Monarch Campgrounds close to the lake front during the August long weekend. Our site was about 50 steps from the P6 entrance to the beach - the beach is the best there is! As blue as a lake can get with sand so soft - we all agreed that as long as we don't look back at...
