Rio Celeste Lodge was our first stop after landing in Liberia for a 2-week trip. The lodge had been recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. The road to get to the lodge from Bijagua really requires a 4-wheel drive, but that is true...More

Let's be real — this is some very basic lodging provided by some very sweet people for a very low price in a very out-of-the-way place. I paid $12 for one in a room with a double bed and a bunk bed that could have...More

Very eco lodge....modern, clean, airy......every room has a wonderful view of the gardens, and the northern volcano, and the rainforest hillside, and the sunset......fantastic bird sightings. Excellent three meals of innovative food. They are very accommodating of special dietary needs..... And the critters in the...More

The lodge creatively uses recycled materials and low-impact design but lacks a comfortable layout that you would associate with a lodge. It's a very small and compact place and feels like you're outside the whole time. The grounds are nicely and simply landscaped, but there...More

Hi, My name is Siddhartha, and I would like to visit this place with my mother end December, for 2 days, Dec 26-27. Would you have rooms available, and what would be the rate? I will have a regular compact / economy car rental, would I be able to get to your place with it? And would it be possible to cook, or would the food need to be purchased in the location? How far is the Rio Celeste waterfall? Can you please send me a link with a quote? Thanks!

Having read the other reviews of "Rio Celeste Lodge" (compare to mine, "Sleeping With the Cows"), I realize we are reviewing totally different hotels. Is it possible that others are referring to "Celeste Mountain Lodge," which is much nicer but 5 km from the park entrance? The description at upper right on this page says "Rio Celeste Lodge" is 1 km before the park entrance, which is where my hotel was. The proprietors are not French, and the lady who runs the place is a Tica named Doña Casta. — Karl Kahler

Quelqu'un pourrait il me communiquer soit le site de l'hôtel (je n'ai rien trouvé sur la toile) ou bien l'adresse mail des propriétaires ?
