Our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed very much. The hotel has everything you need for your stay around Rio Celeste. It's a different concept but very well organized, every detail is taken care of. The food which is included was very good. Yoel the owner is very kind and ready to help.

Great location with beautiful views. Friendly staff and good food. Not luxury but definitely memorable. Dinners are communal and without selections but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the concept of this ecolodge. Close to tenorio park and other excursions.

It is a truly eco responsible hotel without compromising look and comfort. The rooms have a gorgeous view, the food is great & there is a well maintained trail that is part of the hotel property. The staff was very nice and friendly, great people! This is a must visit in Costa Rica. We will definitely remember this as part...

The owners of Celeste have really created a beautiful thing with their hotel. We were there on an unseasonably rainy couple days. One of our main activities in Costa Rica was bird watching, so we were a little disappointed by the weather, but we were swept away by the charm of this place and didn't mind the rain at all....

We enjoyed our stay at Celeste Mountain Lodge. Breakfast, togo lunch and dinner were gourmet and included in the price. The common areas for hanging out were cool and had a lot of little details to enjoy. The location is remote and quiet apart from nature sounds. When we traveled in December there was rain every day and the air...

We applauded the ethical approach to tourism and...

This place is amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better first place to stay on our first trip to Costa Rica. The location is gorgeous, and the views from the common areas and the rooms are unobstructed and beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious and communal meal times give you a chance to get to know the other guests....

We were in our honeymoon and they gave us the best room (room 9) which is in the corner, the rooms are absolutely amazing, you feel in the middle of the nature, the sunset is incredible and also they have a philosophy of taking care of the enviroment and nature, eveything that you find in the hotel are made up...

Thank you very much for these nice comments. We want to bring news to the "but"... Our road, from the village of Bijagua to the national park (11 km), on which we are located is under a huge renovation!! Several kilometers of hills are being made with concrete while a new gravel finish is being laid over the remaining... End...

We were en route to our hotel from San Jose to Rio Celeste when we encountered the first hurricane Costa Rica has had in over 100 years! The dark, winding mountain road was becoming more impassable by the minute. When the road ahead became a river, we had no choice but to turn around. Without a single car/human in sight...

Hello you folks, thank you for this great touching note. What an evening that was to remember! And besides your first night in the country if I recall.. We are very happy we could be of some relief and shelter to you that night, so you could enjoy Thanksgiving despite the conditions. Hope the rest of your stay in Costa...

“There is no AC, but with the windows open it cooled off plenty at night during the green season. Small-ish showers with no tubs, which wasn't an issue for us. No pool, which wasn't an issue for us. The room decor was really charming and made of recycled materials in some cases. Very bright and airy. ”
