Lovely decor in the room - and breakfast room. Delicious breakfast with home made preserves & yoghurt along with fresh fruit salad, bread & croissants. Comfy bed. The only drawback was the loo would not be suitable for people of larger proportions. Good quiet location, but near where we wanted to be. Only met Patrick - very friendly & welcoming.

Very picturesque and remote countryside location, beautiful garden and very nice home-made breakfast. Patrick is a friendly and accomodating host and immediatly offered to call ahead for us to have dinner in a nearby restaurant (the type of place that you don;t find unless pointed to). Location is remote and very quiet, but Amboise, supermarket and wine cellars are all...

Patrick and Nathalie were once again brilliant hosts. Their local knowledge and advice for this trip was exactly what we needed. Great facilities, clean and once again lovely breakfast. Homemade yoghurt, fresh pastries and excellent coffee. 2nd trip back and will go back again

Private access to your room, peaceful countryside, Patrick was so helpful with us when our car rental fell through and advice about the region. You'll need a car or be fit with your cycling (its up a slight hill) because there's nothing around you but countryside. The region itself has many castles to visit and wine tasting.

We traveled as a couple with a teenage daughter around the Loire Valley. We enjoyed staying at Le Clos du Puits, after initially wondering where we ended up. It is a very peaceful and quiet rural area, yet only about 12 minute drive to Amboise. Note that there are no shops in walking distance. Our part of the cottage had been...

Its a perfect place to launch discovery day-trips by car from...

We stayed in the Le Clos du Puits for two nights in Leonardo suit. The suit consists of two rooms and a small kitchen, situated on ground floor of the house. We missed the TV and internet in the room. For the internet (wireless) connection we have to go to the breakfast room area, that wasn’t too convenient. Mr. Patrick...

This charming bed and breakfast was all we hoped for, and so much more! The accomodations were clean, quaint, updated, and beautifully-furnished, and for breakfast there was a delicious array of French-style breads and sundries. The owner Patrick was extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly, and we will never forget his hospitality. We will absolutely be back!

Le Clos Du Puits is in the perfect location for two of the best Chateau in Loire. Patrick is the perfect host, offering a delicious breakfast in wonderful surroundings of his breakfast room, its the attention to detail (rose petals and glass table decorations) that put a smile on your face, not to mention his home made preserves!! The rooms...
