I went down my TripAdvisor Dufftown accommodation listings, E-mailing each B&B separately until I finally found that Davaar had availability (or was willing to take in guests for only 1 night). LUCKY me - for starters, the price was right. Susan, I don't know how you manage to make money at that incredible price! Second, the room was SO cozy...the...

Andy and Sue is a wonderful host. The breakfast prepared by Sue is fantastic. I would probably enjoyed it more if not for the hang over from all the whiskey. However, I enjoyed my stay at Davaar. Sadly, I'm only staying for one night. If I'm ever in Dufftown again, I'll definitely look to stay with Andy & Sue again.

We had a wonderful 1 night stay when we stayed for 1 night on 30th May. The B&B is very conveniently located just off the clock tower, especially if you intend to take a distillery walk tour which starts from the clock tower. Andy and Sue were extremely friendly and very warm. It was a delight to get to know...

I stay in Dufftown every week with my wee Lad so we can go to Beavers & Cubs in Dufftown. Andy & Sue very kindly accommodated us for a couple of months. The room was tastefully decorated, spotless, very comfortable - as was the rest of the house. The breakfast was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A perfect place to stay during my visit to Dufftown, with the most comfortable bed of any of my ports of call in Scotland this trip, very friendly and informative hosts, Sue and Andy, and really tasty breakfasts. Plus, it was good to chat with other guests also there due to an interest in whisky.

We had a great stay at Davaar. Rooms were a decent size, though showers were a little cramped. Sue was friendly and welcoming, showed us through everything and made dinner recommendations. The house is a lovely old place with spacious rooms and high ceilings, and the beds were comfortable. We had partially chosen this B&B based on reviews commenting on...

We had a great time at Davaar. The owners were friendly, the room was comfortable and the location was only a few minutes' drive from Balvenie and Glenfiddich--perfect for us. The delicious breakfast felt like a happy bonus.

This guest house is just off the main square in Dufftown so close to everything. The house is a lovely old home well maintained and furnished with lovely personal touches (photos, craftwork and mementos) of the hosts. Sue and Andy are delightful hosts, happy to chat and make recommendations, offer advise on walking tracks but also prepared to slip into...

Had a wonderful two-night stay here with Andrew and Sue, very friendly and welcoming hosts. They had great recommendations for the area and were chatty without being overbearing. Breakfast was delicious - particularly the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on toast. Very good, strong coffee as well. A great base for enjoying the distilleries around Dufftown.

Good breakfast, comfortable accommodation and friendly and helpful hosts. The bathroom was very small, shower temperamental and the wash basin so small that it was completely inadequate for a decent wet shave. The cleanliness was a bit questionable - tooth mug dirty, bedroom tea pot not emptied and some corners and surfaces didn't look as if they had been cleaned...
