Just returned from 11 nights at Hanioti Village Hotel. We had a lovely suite, large balcony, great shower in bathroom. Comfortable bed but pillows a bit hard. Nice uncrowded pool area. All hotel staff were great. They all seemed genuinely happy to be working there....More
We stayed in this hotel 2 nights. The location of the hotel and breakfast are good. However, these are the only two things that are good in this hotel. Rooms are very old. They should renovate the rooms and especially beds immediately. Beds are very...More
First time to Hanioti and this hotel. Would definitely recommend. Spotlessly clean, staff are excellent (even sorted the match out for me!!). Rooms are great (one of the best I've been to in Greece). We only had breakfast which was really good - buffet style...More
Came here as a family of 4 for a week. It was a very small hotel and even though it was fully booked it didn't feel cramped at all. The grounds were lovely and very well kept, and the pool and all the rooms were...More
The hotel staff etc, were lovely it's just the room was classed as Superior but wasn't in any way. Room was small, wardrobe hangars too high up for some and no pictures in the room. Bathroom though was a good size and it was very...More

We have been going the the HVH for several years and this year we rang Perry (one of the owners of HVH) and he arranged a taxi for us. He uses a local firm in Pefkohori (the next village along). Our driver was Thomas and he provided iced water on arrival, nice comfy Merc and charged 80 euros each way. One year we got a taxi from the airport to the bus depot (about 20 euros) then a bus to Hanioti (10 euros each) got off at Lemonis bakery then got a cab to the hotel (5 euros) you could walk but it was scorching! It seems like a bit of a hassle but it was good fun. You could also hire a car which I believe is very reasonable from a firm like Kriopigi Cars. Have a great holiday.
