We just returned from 4 days at Les Buis. What a wonderful experience. Carlos was amazing and so helpful and his breakfast each morning was first class. Freshly baked breads and pastries. He takes pride in what he does. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The perfect place to get away from it all and...

The owners of this inn are art lovers. Every public space is decorated tastefully, often with original art. Our room was extraordinary. The breakfasts were beyond gourmet. We stayed two nights and each morning our breakfast was different but equally incredible. There is some small unusual offering, fruit, meats and cheeses, hot breads (really good breads), three homemade jams (even...

We stayed here for five nights and we could not have been better looked after. The building, its interior and furnishings are like a stately home (but not at all stuffy) - very tasteful art and antiques everywhere. Breakfast was like none we've had before and we did once stay at the Savoy in London. The presentation, quality and quantity...

We stayed for two separate nights in September in Les Buis in Ille sur Têt and enjoyed a wonderful time on both occasions, enhanced by the welcome we received from our charming host. The house itself is a delight – a 19th-century on-the-street mansion. The double doors open into a tiled and marbled entrance hall, leading on to a library...

We had seen good reviews for Les Buis - and our experience was at least as good! The property has a real presence - a home, beautifully decorated in style. Sergio and Carlos look after you as good friends and are at pains to ensure that you have all you need - especially at breakfast. There is a great variety...

We had an excellent stay, sleeping in a spacious mint-condition very charming room, eating excellent breakfasts and being treated royally by our endearing hosts. The garden is a small piece of southern-France-heaven, partly shaded, lush and handled with greatest of care. Our hosts went to trouble beyond what was expected and made sure we had everything we needed and then...

This is such a lovely place to stay.It is a nineteenth century building and is furnished with paintings and furniture from that period whilst having up to date fitments where it matters such as fabulous showers in sumptuous en-suite bathrooms. It is homely as well and Sergio and Carlos make that so. A fabulous breakfast of fresh croissant, nut breads, home...

Not much to add to what has already been said. We stopped off in Ille sur Tet on our way down to Spain. The 18th century setting of a town house and quirky but sophisticated decoration made this a memorable stay. The two owners are very gentle and respectful and treated our 3 year old daughter with as much attention...

Beautiful villa in southern France, superbly decorated, that houses the most charming chambre d' hote I've stayed at. The rooms are spacious and extremely confortable, as well as the bathrooms, which have been modernized. The decor of the entire house and specifically of the rooms and common spaces are outstanding, demonstrating the good taste shared by the owners? The breakfast...
