Spent two wonderful weeks here end July to Mid August at Apartment Brunelleschi (I say Apartment, more of a house really). Went with friends and had a really great stay here, The location is beautiful, the help and advice is first rate, and the food and drink provided were top-notch. We tended to spend a day or two here and...

Perfect house, great location and above all wonderful hospitality by Pucci family. Tours organised by Nicolo are highly recommended. Also, we can recommend the traditional Tuscan products offered by Pucci family and their neighbours, which could be included in the offer. The home made meal prepared by owner was also excellent.

My two adult daughters and their boyfriends and I enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Cafaggiolo in July 2016. Niccolo and his mother, Paola, were wonderful hosts. The villa is rustic, but very comfortable and equipped with all you could need for your stay. Note you need to bring your own toilet paper, face/hand soap, dishwashing soap and paper towels....

My family of 5 plus my adult sister-in-law just returned from a beautiful and relaxing visit at Villa Cafaggiolo, specifically the Giotto apartment, which is probably the most private of the villa apartments set in the back with views of the rolling hills of the countryside (gorgeous!). All three of the villas were occupied but we never saw one of...

We were looking for quiet, peace, beauty and a relaxing place to recharge our batteries and we were not disappointed at all. Driving down to the villa and seeing its location we already felt at home and relax. The place is beyond words especially when you are upstairs relaxing on the bed and looking out on the olive tress growing...

The house was perfect and Niccolo and his family are so nice and so attentive. Barbara made dinner for us the first night and it was a great way to end a full day of travel. It's a short train ride from Florence which is great because it's nice and quiet with the exception of the birds in the trees...which...

Great place, close proximity to Florence and train station. We were there in June so the walk is about 25 min if you know where you are going. I am a "sweater" (hot natured) so the $10 euro ride to and from the train station seemed very sufficient at times. If you are walking, either way, by night, then I...

• Villa Cafaggiolo is an ancient farmhouse placed only 12 Km east of Florence, located in the Chianti countryside, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. It is positioned at the top of a hill in a panoramic position..., You can enjoy a great view of the valley. • Florence is only 20 minutes drive; the location is perfect if you look for a quiet peaceful country setting that is close to shops and restaurants and within easy reach of many other wonderful towns in Tuscany: Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano. • Villa Cafaggiolo is a large (about 4500 sq ft) free-standing country dwelling, constructed in the late 1700s and fully restored in 2012. • The Villa is composed of 3 luxury apartments, each a different size and shape and each completely independent of the others. Each one has its own private entrance as well as its own private garden and patio. The 3 apts. Have Air Conditioning. • Villa Cafaggiolo is very close to Florence... Only 12 km South-East, means 15/20 minutes by car. A large and comfortable road will lead you from the bustle of the City to the tranquillity of the Florentine hills. You'll drive in the Chianti area, through the countryside, along the Arno river; left and right you'll spot castles, farmhouses, old churches, vineyards olive groves... The Villa is immersed in silence; our guests love falling asleep to the sounds of nature. This location is ideal for those wishing to visit Florence and all its glories, while at the same time experiencing the quiet and tranquility of a rural setting away from the noise of the city. • The quite big village of Pontassieve is 2 Km from the Villa. It is an attractive medieval town where you will find any kind of shops, supermarkets, banks, several very good restaurants and a shopping center. In Pontassieve there is a rail station; there is frequent train service to the center of Florence. The train takes about 20 minutes and is an easy way to travel for those who do not wish to take their car into the city. It is easy to park at the rail station.
