Absolutely perfect, excellent rooms, marvellous staff, out of this world food with a variety of flavours and exclusivity! I came to celebrate my birthday and it was the best choice! I got a very special treat with dinner at the beach, scuba dive in the worlds biggest fresh water aquarium, followed by a relaxing massage! Our 15 month old girl...

the most comfortable, laid back, relaxing, beautiful place you can imagine. Even the "sea" (never quite got used to it being a lake!) is warm, clear fresh water. The food was amazing and up to an excellent standard for a restaurant anywhere, if you factor in the remote location it is a wonder how they do it. We were lucky...

We spent 3 nights at Kaya Mawa with a group. Stunning decor, excellent staff, exquisite setting, wonderful food. Managements went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly need and want.

We spent some extraordinary days at Kaya Mawa. The manager Michelle was truly engaged to make our stay perfect. We loved the relaxed attitude regarding meal times and the feeling of being all by ourselves (which we also were some days due to being the end of the season). We stayed in two decorative bungalows with spectacular lake view –...

Unfortunately I tend to write very few reviews but occassionally you find somewhere so special that it would be impossible not to do so and Kaya Mawa is one of those places. It is hard to choose from the list of superlatives that come to mind when reviewing this stunning resort. Firstly the flight to the island is incredible with...

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Kaya Mawa in November. We loved everything about it. Our room was beautiful and really well designed. The attention to detail is quite something. Staff could not be more helpful. Food is outstanding and you could choose to eat whenever you wanted and more or less where you wanted. We really did not expect...

This is an outstanding resort on paradise island. The manager Michelle makes everything happen without fuss and anticipates every wish of her guests. The chef Richard with his lady assistants consistently produce delicious contemporary meals. The waiters and other staff are friendly and more charming than you could imagine.

Everything from the flight to the room to the meals was absolutely perfect. The chalet was breathtaking, the swimming in the ocean at sunset magical and the food was to die for. I highly recommend coming here. The staff are so attentive to your every need. Our last night, they laid some pillows on the beach, set up the table...

My wife and I stayed at Kaya Mawa for 5 nights after visiting the Victoria Falls and a Safari. This was for a bit of beach chilling after a hectic few days before. Wow what a place! It really is a truly wonderful and unique location. The design of all the areas is quite chic with curtains made from seed,...

Kaya Maya was recommended by a well travelled colleague as her fav place on earth, & truly is a beautiful & exceptional place. Unlike big corporate beach hotels where you are with a million others on a fenced off beach, this intimate place is part of the community, you share the pristine beach with the locals that come out to...
