Stayed here for one night after a nearby family wedding, the rooms where perfectly laid out. The natural light in the skylights was brilliant to wake up to. Perfect sized shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and there was a decent selection. Would deff recommend to anyone wanting to stay here.

Thank you for the lovely review, I am so pleased you enjoyed the stay and the food. If you do find yourself back exploring the South of England it would be great to see you again. The rooms around the back are 2, 4 and 5 if you liked the quite quadrangle. Kind Regards Carol.

Visited here for evening meal while staying at a near by campsite. We didn't realise the pub had its own campsite & was more peaceful than ours. Excellent simple food, fantastic beer and cider. We would return when next in the area.

We stopped here on the way back from Cornwall to break the journey - really lovely friendly pub with fantastic home cooked meals at a reasonable price - have stayed there before and will certainly stay again - well worth going a couple of extra miles out of the way for,

As a midway stop on our bike ride the Golden Fleece was a great choice. Our room was in a lovely flint block set apart from the main pub restaurant building and everything looked brand new inside.
