Whats there to say besides it was another beautiful experience. From the moment we were picked up from the airport until we were dropped off 3 days later, everything was better than expected Service was excellent, accommodation were perfect. Great view and a very spacious room The staff was professional as expected and even went beyond our needs to make us feel like VIP's. We can't wait to go back there again in September. Thank you to everyone at Kivotos for everything. I can't imagine a better way to spend my vacation in Mykonos.
My wife, her friend and I booked the hideaway suite for a 3 day stay. Day one no hot water, day 2 didn't get hot water until midday and we needed to use a different suite to shower. The management claimed that they were recovering from storm and no power so quite a bit of the offerings were not available yet. I would not book here again, for the price it was not worth the experience. ONLY saving grace was Stenick the server, if it weren't for him we would have left on the 1st day.
When art meets hospitality !We spent unforgettable moments in Kivotos hotel ! An artistic and high quality 5 stars hotel in Ornos beach ,it has a stunning view with a private beach and the poolside is just beautiful . Not only because the location of the hotel is very convenient but because the staff was very happy and polite. All of them were willing to help and take the extra step! Last but not least ,the breakfast was really delicious with homemade and local products -and the dinners as well . We will be back again
I am not one to typically write reviews, as I understand it is difficult to be in the hospitality business. Especially, during a global pandemic, but for Kivotos Mykonos, I felt driven to. It’s tough to imagine a hotel that could get off to as inauspicious a start, yet kept getting worse. Our disappointment began with our arrival at the ferry terminal. The hotel had booked a transfer for us (mind you every transfer you must pay for nothing is included unlike many other hotels and will run you anywhere from 40-60 euros per trip depending on where you will be going on the island), but the car was nowhere to be found after three laps around the pickup area the car finally arrived. Alas, this speed bump turned into a happy memory given the issues that were to befall the trip. After a seemingly never-ending tour of a small property, the receptionist took us to our room. Pictures of the property may look high-end, but in person, it is showing its age, for example, the shower did not drain well, there were 4 settings on the shower but only 2 worked, and 1 of the 2 AC's and the fan in the room was broken, but more importantly was not the room we booked. We had printed confirmation that we had booked a Deluxe Seaview Suite with a private pool, but the hotel claimed this is not what they had on their end, in their booking system and that we should call our travel agency. After spending an hour on the phone, with our travel agency saying that they would call us back but they see the same booking as us. The hotel told us our options were to either take the room we did not book or pay an extra €900 per night for the room we had reserved, but it would only be available for 2 of the 4 nights we were going to stay so we would have to move halfway through. That evening the hotel advised they had booked a car for us at 7:30, upon arriving in the lobby, they stated they forgot, and we had to wait 30 mins until the car would arrive. At this point, we decided we would not be relying on the hotel for any other bookings during the trip... Unfortunately, there was still one thing we needed- 2 weeks prior to the trip we had emailed and confirmed with the hotel they would arrange and provide covid tests for us for travel, when we went the night before to confirm they would still in fact be at 9 am the next day they realized they had forgotten to book one, but they could maybe fit us in when the dr was coming the next day at 1. Since we had a boat trip booked, that would not work. After 2 hours of waiting nervously, they let us know that the Dr. could come but were quite short and unapologetic about yet again another mistake. It is at this point that we emailed the owner, after finding his email on TripAdvisor we decided instead of waiting we would message during the trip with our disappointment. No surprise, there was no answer to our email. To top off the extreme disappointment of the trip, we had emailed the desk prior to our flight to print our PLF and negative covid results to make the airport check-in a bit easier. When arriving at the airport we opened the envelope with said papers they claimed to have printed, they had only printed 1 of the 4 documents. Overall, I have never been so disappointed in a hotel.…
An amazing hotel, great location! Service was super nice and kind. Totally worth the price. The most amazing view from every point in the hotel! Simply amazing and not very crowded. We had a great trip. The food was also very fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back!
