I didn't book the hotel myself which was a mistake. Had a room in some building which was a little difficult to find late in the evening. The smell of mold or something was very strong in the corridor. The room was clean and more lile a hostel than hotel style. The electric kettle was a plus. The price was...

I have stayed and traveled all over Lapland. Levi, Yllas but this hotel in Saariselka is most definitely my favourite. Beautiful suite, sauna, fantastic balcony with views over the church and town. Great to sit out on a late night looking at the stars with a hot chocolate. Suites are very large with warm locker to dry and warm clothes....

Myself and my husband and 3 children had a fantastic time here in December. We booked the 3 day santas magic trip with santas lapland. From start to finish the trip was amazing, truly amazing. Everything ran so smoothly and the staff were fantastic. When we arrived at ivalo airport the elves were there to greet us , singing Xmas...

We stayed here whilst visiting as part of a Santa's Lapland 4 day trip. We stayed in one of the type B suites that had a separate bedroom, living area, kitchen, sauna and drying cupboard for your clothes. The room was more than big enough for our family of 4. The room was clean and had good amenities. The sauna...

Rooms are located to different buildings. Hotel and rooms are propably built late -70's, although rooms renovated but already some wear out visible. Hotel has good location, not too far away from anything essential, expect from ski lifts which any of hotels are not very near although there seems to be ski bus running between hotels and lift.

We stayed there on 26 Jan 2017. The room was big and clean. Buffet breakfast and dinner was acceptable. The hotel is within walking distance to a big supermarket. There was spots to wait for the aurora just beside the hotel.

I spent in the hotel 4 nights. Very nice room with sauna and all comforts. Breakfast good and nice people working there. Reception unfortunately in another building but quite close. A Swimmingpool would have been nice

We booked the twin centre adventure with Inghams but were too late to get the Gielas wing. All of the reviews on here were very complimentary of the Gielas wing but were less complimentary of the Tunturi Hotel itself. We could only get accommodation in a standard room in a Tunturi block. Our expectations were quite low. In reality it...

Our accommodation was warm/ dry and very basic and could have done with correctly fitting sheets to cover the old mattresses. Food was great if you ate in the bar area but the restaurant food was worse than school dinners in the 80's!! The staff team were fantastic though, very polite/ helpful and accommodating.

Our children are 5 & 6 and this 3 night trip to Lapland with Thompson was amazing. The rooms in this hotel are a little tired but very clean & comfortable. All you need after a very busy day in the snow. The food is quite basic but hearty & tasty, after all it's a long way north! Situated in...
