We were booked for an 07:30 hours ferry to Cairnryan and needed a B&B near the port of Larne. The Harbour Inn was ideal only 600 metres from the ferry terminal easy to find and park. Our experience over the years of travelling from Scotland to Northern Ireland or vice versa we have never managed to find a B&B that...

Stayed in this place before crossing the ferry for one night. Very well maintained B and B , very clean bedroom and toilet . The washroom had Bathtub which is exceptional as most of the B and B and even hotels these days have one. Liz was very helpful and friendly. Would stay again in this place if we cross...

This little B&B was a great wee place and the owner was so warm and welcoming. The accommodation was satisfactory, the beds where so comfortable with ample pillows and bedding. The food was delicious, warm and excellent just like the owner. Anyone looking for a little quaint place to stay overnight while getting the ferry to or from Larne and...

Liz is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and at home! Room and breakfast were both very much to our liking. Larne is also a good place for getting on and off the ferries to Scotland and for touring (Northern) Ireland. Warmly recommended, whenever we return to Ireland we'll be sure to stay here again! A big...

Liz and staff were absolutely amazing! My mother and I stayed at Harbour Inn on our first night arriving in Ireland for a 2 week trip. Liz gave us some of the best advice...."Stay awake!" We heeded her advice and the jet lag was quite bearable. She is also the only person who explained to us how to operate the...

We stayed at The Harbour Inn for 3 nights and were extremely satisfied. There are some negative comments on here to which I would pay no attention, its a very fine property perfectly located to the ferries and also as a touring base. Breakfast was very good and the owner simply couldn't do enough for us, she even cooked breakfast...

On my visit to the harbour inn B&B, Liz made me feel very welcome and gave me good advice on were to go for evening meals etc. The harbour inn has fantastic rooms, nice and clean and the cooked breakfast was spot on!! The location is very good as it's only a few minutes for the ferry terminal. Alec

We stayed here the night before our ferry home. Liz was welcoming and helpful advising us on the local area for places to eat etc. Our room was spacious and clean and we finish our stay with a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

After my Mum's review, a few other things came to light. The room was very good/ clean.... nice bathroom, however I had to wrestle with a 1980s style TV by pulling out the chest of drawers to plug the TV into a larger cluster of plugs on an extension lead (although TV was 'free' - I think we were still...
