Wonderful warm welcome at this excellent B&B in the heart of Larne with hosts attending to your every need. Top class accommodation and excellent breakfast I was there as a business traveller and will definitely make it a regular stop. I would highly recommend Derrin Guest house whether on business or holiday.

Travelled from Glasgow to Larne by ferry and easily found this delightful B&B. Stayed only one night as we were on a road trip around the Emerald Isle. The owners were very attentive, recommended a good restaurant for dinner, had a lovely sitting room available for guests and cooked a delicious breakfast. When my husband had to go into Belfast...

I booked the Derrin Guest House over the booking.com website and thought that it looked quite lovely. When my husband and I arrived at the property, we were overwhelmed. This place has been lovingly restored and the decor was exquisite, while still keeping a personal, homely feel to the place. The owner showed us around the property, showed us where...

We stayed one night in the Derrin and can highly recommend this accommodation. Breakfast is out of this world and is as good as any 5* restaurant. Particularly enjoyed the generous bowl of fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. The owners are very hospitable and keen to ensure that you have a wonderful experience staying in their town. They recommended...

The house keepers are very friendly and very very helpful indeed! Rooms are clean with all mod cons and real cosy. Recently turned vegan so can’t comment on the food however, although the pancakes in the morning sounded very tempting :) Great location. Good price. Thanks again.

We stayed one night in the Derrin in a spacious family room. The room was spotlessly clean and really beautiful, with good tea and coffee making. The beds were very comfortable and a modern shower room. Ivy was brilliant with my two autistic children who asked her 1000 questions! Breakfast was excellent and again ivy went out of her way...

If you stay here with your dog, be prepared to be told off if they so much as look like they are going to spend a penny. You have to walk your dog in the streets to exercise them or there is a small area of grass 5 mins away which when I was there with my dog was littered...

Before you made your booking you rang us to confirm that we accepted dogs. I confirmed that we are happy to take dogs providing they are not "walked" on our drive or in our garden and that you could take your dogs to a nearby park a few minutes walk away. You agreed to this and proceeded to book. If...

We needed to catch the ferry in the morning and this place was super close so added a lot of convenience. I would recommend this place to anyone, was one of the best...

We were in the quater-final of the Irish Hockey Trophy vs Larne on the 8th of March. Both Ivy and her husband were so accomadating and helpful to us, NUIG, throughout the orgainising of the trip. They did everything that was asked of them and more! It was a long 6 hour trip from Galway and when we got there,...
