We stayed for a night on our way to Quebec. Tammy and Will were the ultimate hosts, so welcoming and wonderful. The house is beautiful and looked so perfectly decorated for Christmas. The rooms were large and comfortable as were the lovely beds. We slept well and then ate a fabulous breakfast of blueberry/ chocolate chip pancakes, berries and oatmeal. Newton House is a great place to stay but above that Tammy and Will are rare and special people

We were set up to view a few homes in Eastern Ontario and thought the drive would be to much so we started looking at B and B's in the area and came across a beautiful one in Tweed. We called and booked a room and said we would arrive Saturday at 2 pm. The owners Will and Tammy were very gracious upon our arrival as we walked around this beautiful well preserved Victorian Century home and found out some of it's history. We were taken to our room after friendly conversation. This home is very clean which was bonus points for us. We were given information about places to go for dinner which was awesome as we are not from the Tweed area......thank you Tammy The decor in all the rooms of the home are decorated with great taste. Now the breakfast was served early as we had to leave early in the morning to see another property...let me say the fresh fruit coffee and home-made pancakes were delicious. I would highly recommend this B n B to anyone who is looking for a quiet peaceful getaway. Great hosts and lovely conversations :)

I took my wife for an overnight stay in Tweed at the Newton house for our anniversary, and Will and Tammy were simply wonderful hosts. Breakfast was superb and the room was very quaint and quiet. Definitely stay again.

A drive up highway 37 brought us through Tweed. It made for a natural stay over and we spent 2 nights. The Newton House hosted by Will and Tammy was a refreshing change to the packaged commercial deal. The century old house is breath taking from the road and stepping into the grand entrance. The woodwork, the lighting, and the staircase is a like a passage through time. Will and Tammy's personalities are like forever friends. The house is warm, inviting and every accent throughout the house is fitting to the era of the home. The ceilings throughout are 10 feet and the moldings are exquisitely detailed. There's a selection of rooms and our bed made for a great nights sleep. Included was a breakfast fit for a King or Queen and over the two days, Will and Tammy offered up coffee, tea , pancakes, eggs, and an amazing variety of fresh fruit. I can't imagine choosing a hotel/motel ever again when we could experience this hospitality at a comparable price. A walk through town involved chats at the art gallery, and a heritage centre. Will and Tammy are well known and fondly spoken of, and the care they've taken of their home. The Newton House is a must see and stay over. The entire town is beautiful and charming. We're already planning our next stay at the Newton House.

Beautiful home, fantastic hosts! The best B & B we have ever stayed at, and you can't beat the price of only $100/night. Hosts Will and Tammy know so much about the area and we didn't have time to do half of what we would like to do. We are already planning a return trip.
