Paid just short of 2,5 thousand pounds for a two week stay here and was disgusted at what we encountered.

Yes it is. Kids play area was a plastic slide that you would have in your garden. There was no entertainment until the night before we were due to come home and the Russians will push you out of the way to get to the food... More

The whole hotel needs refurbished
The only decent part were the restaurant and bar staff and Cyprus of course
If you still decide to go, phone your rep as soon as you access your room etc and she'll arrange to move you to a better hotel usually within 2hrs
Hire a car to explore as they drive on the same side as us and there's hardly any traffic there.
