We went to wedding in the area and stayed at the hotel. It was clean, on the water and close to the center and the service was excellent. The green grounds were well kept. The best thing were the people. They all smiled and were ready to take care of any need. Wonderful. Will definitely go back for a vacation.

Myself and my husband spent 8 days at the Filoxenia Hotel, from 23.08.14 to 31.08.14 on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is directly on the sea front with all amenities to hand. We had a very pleasurable time at the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly, polite and work very hard in such a very busy environment. The...

The hotel is situated at the end of the long Kalamata beach. The rooms are spatious and have all that you may need. The superior rooms are more spatious, are looking towards the gorgeous garden and the pool (which is very big and clean), are cooler than the regular rooms and they are overall better. The only thing I didn't...

Planned 3 days, left after 1st night. Room odor, food , cheapest plastic smelling coffee, sheet stains, NOISY rooms, no tranquility. Beach and pool beds of the 60s , so dirty and non anatomical, sitting on bumpy pieces of metal. No privacy, and numerous little details ( staff behaves as if they are unpaid ) that say, , ,just go...

Dear Guest, I would like to thank you for staying with us. I would like though to inform you that we are not used to such negative comments as you can see from the majority of Trip Advisor comments . I am real curious why you did not called the Manager in order to be informed about your complaints and...

Fantastic beach with direct access from hotel grounds 6. They offered us the Sauna and Spa facilities and have been overall very friendly and very organised. Good location is the top asset of the hotel. The 2/3-storey buildings are in a garden at the edge of the town and on the seaside, with nice view to the sea and the mountain. The long seaside walk starting from the hotel and ending in the center (perhaps 3kms) and the port is flat and pleasant, full of cafes...

We stayed here for a week in August and intend to return next year. The location is excellent - the hotel is directly on the sea-front (you can park at either and use both) and Mount Taygetus rises directly to one side of the hotel providing a dramatic and inspiring backdrop. The rooms were clean, well-maintained and of a reasonable...

This was my first visit to Filoxenia on a recommendation from a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel exceeded my expectations. The entertainment team was excellent with different events and activities scheduled throughout the day and night for kids and adults. Kudos to Andrei and the rest of his team. My two children thoroughly enjoyed the...
