The summary of our stay at the hotel could be: having booked for nine nights, we finally shortened our stay and moved back to Florence. Some good things, though: we had quite a big room with really nice views of the old town, a hydro massage bath that worked to perfection, and that's pretty much it. It was clean, but...

Dear Guest, I’m very sorry to read your review. Knowing that you left the Palace in advance because you didn’t like the service it is a defeat for us. I think that some things you wrote have been excessively marked but regarding some others we will work on it and I think that are a good constructive criticism that will...

The hotel was very attractive and located in a walled medieval city. The rooms large and comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful. Restaurant was good. The spa was a nice spot to spend an hour after walking up and down all those roads in the medieval city. This is not a tourist spot but one can stay there and...

Having the chance to regularly visit a property means being very demanding. And being demanding means expecting highest quality and care for the smallest details. This is what Palazzo San Lorenzo is good at: fulfilling the expectations of people like me, travelling for business and just wishing to feel at home, surrounded by people caring for you. The Manager and...

We stayed at Palazzo San Lorenzo for the 4th time. We seem to make it a given to stay in the town of Colle di Val d'Elsa and Palazzo every time we travel to the Tuscany area. It is a pleasure to experience both. The hotel is fantastic, their rooms are extremely large and very well appointed. The hotel staff...

A great, clean and modern hotel in Tuscany. We are really glad that we chose to stay here instead of a hotel in one of the busier towns such as Volterra. We were only a few kilometers from San Gimignano, Volterra and the Chianti region. Also Sienna is only a short (30-40 minute drive). A perfect location if you are...

Not only is the location stunning, the hotel is perfection. We actually stayed in their neighbouring apartments and it was perfect for our needs. The rooms were complete apartments with kitchenettes and the most fantastic views. I can't get over how picturesque this town is, and staying in this perfect place made our time here even more special. Parking is...

We stayed four nights as part of a tour group and really enjoyed it. The hotel and the upper town are really quiet and peaceful. The hotel was welcoming with friendly staff. Our room was smart and modern with views over the town and countryside; the bed was comfortable and the bathroom excellent, with a spa bath. Wi-Fi was free...

The hotel has lovely spacious rooms and helpful staff. There is not much of interest in Colle Val d'Elsa, but it is a useful base for going to more interesting places like San Gimignano and Siena. When we were there it was very hot but the local Olympic pool was closed and it cost 20 euros to use the hotel's...

Dear Mr Clive, thank you for the nice words regarding our Hotel, we are sorry that you did not like dining in our restaurant, unfortunately it is not so easy to satisfy all participants of a group above all when the group is of 50 and more people. Taking the request for beverages and starting the service (with double choice)...

If you like spas this is a must. The hydro pool is beautiful and huge. The massages are Italian which are a bit more intimate than North American so be prepared. They are however, wonderful. The facial was great too.
