We stayed in a standard room, whilst attending the Pudding Club. I cannot fault the hotel as all the staff were very attentive and the room was clean and tidy. Upshot the bed was very comfy, however we found the room to be extremely on the small side, considering the cost of the room for the night including the Pudding... More

Dear Shello Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am really pleased to hear that you had a good stay and enjoyed the Pudding Club evening. I am sorry that you found your bedroom on the small side, our rooms do vary and the standard rooms tend to be smaller than the Superior and Pudding Club... More

We stayed overnight for the Pudding Club. The hotel was lovely - clean, tastefully appointed, and with very friendly staff. I can't recommend the Pudding Club enough. The food was absolutely wonderful, and it was a really fun, decadent experience. I can't wait to visit again.

We stayed here as a last minute impromptu night away and were very glad that we did! The welcome was friendly and professional - as was the service throughout. We had our dog with us who was equally well catered for, and the provision of a 'dog box' with a few essentials in it in the room was really appreciated.... More

This is a review of the Pudding Club rather than the hotel. The evening starts with an introductory talk and explanation of the rules, which are you can only put one pudding on your plate at a time and only then at the invitation of the pudding master. Then we had our main meal- there was a choice of three-... More

Was bought this break by our daughter and had a lovely time, we stayed in lord Randalls bedchamber, it was quirky but needed an it of TLC as looking a bit worn in places but bed was comfy and bathroom had lovely products and big fluffy towels. The meal was lovely and the puddings were scrummy. Lovely visit.

Came for a 1 night stay and really enjoyed it. Slightly small but very clean room with ample amenities, hair dryer, shampoo, soap tea etc. Ate in the restaurant which was very good indeed. Only thing I would say is that no one asked how our meal was at any point. However if you did ask I would have positive... More

Lovely overnight stay at The Pudding Club. Very helpful and friendly staff and the food delicious! We stayed in a standard room which was fine, my only comment would be that if i were to visit again i would book an upstairs room as the people above had a child and were walking around a lot and you could hear... We were stuck for accomodation and the hotel with one room left on Easter weekend offered a good price. The rooms were average - nothing luxurious but clean. We did not have time to stay for the breakfast but we heard great things about the hotel restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hot water in the shower in the evening... More

We stayed overnight to attend a reunion of retired friends. It is the first time we have stayed overnight at this hotel and the first time we have dined there for about 14 years. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Reception staff were friendly and efficient when we arrived and our room was available early, so we were able to settle... More
