nice and very tasteful decorated place. Friendly staff, in particular the manager was very helpful. However, been there on a Sunday, there is very little option for dinner without driving. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom on sort of balcony and large. Outside area at the pool noisy due the some industrial building nearby.

We had a very pleasant stay in Firlane House. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, especially the gentleman who served breakfast & Ben the gardener. We did feel that our room would have benefitted from a fan as it was extremely hot. Our room was a little cramped, but clean & comfortable.

The hotel is small and has a personalized touch to it as every guest had their own key to the main entrance. However, the room was a bit cramped in my opinion because of the heavy furniture and the internet connection wasn't really as good as one would expect. Another strange thing for me was that there was no air...

On arrival, one is mesmerized by the lush and perfectly manicured garden, colonial charm and opulence of Firlane House. Once inside our excitement dwindled slightly. The cushions on the occasional chairs looked flat and sad and a layer of dust covered the tables and floor. Our could've-been-splendid room had the exact same feel. Every lampshade stood with a bowed head,...

The hotel looked amazing online and is a great space but the actual rooms are not very nice. My biggest disappointment was the linen. All the towels corners were black (these were white towels) and torn so we had to use our own towels that we brought with for the beach. The bed linen had a huge hole in it...

I stayed at Firlane house for a weeklong business trip to Bredasdorp. The service was excellent, the manager even went as far as taking us to Clicks on 2 rainy days. The breakfast is really good, and the French Toast... to die for.

Nice place in a friendly enviroment. The town is a small town, for someone could be a bit quiet. But it was a value for us comming from Cape Town. House is comfortably placed and well managed. Great breakfast. Would stay again next time.

The people are friendly and helpful, the rooms very comfortable and it's in a quiet location. It's a great base for trips to Arniston and De Hoop and the Shipwreck Museum nearby is interesting. A very good breakfast to order too. On our first visit we were on a cycling trip and had bike problems. They put us in contact...

You feel like being home in this nice Guest House. Breakfast is served in good quality with a very friendly touch of South African kindness. Best place to stay when touring through the country. Close to Agulhas, Gaansbaai and Arniston. The Julian's Restaurant (just 5 min. walk away) is just excellant an worth a visit.

“situated in a quiet area our room was on ground floor and to be honest we could hear the very loud TV from the room above. But we were near the front door and dinning room.”

“We had room 7, which was fine in winter, but if you wake with the light of the sun, then it would probably be best to avoid this room during summer, as there are glass doors between the bed & bath room”

“I would suggest spending the extra money as the slightly more expensive rooms are much more spacious.”
