We had an 11 night stay on the Adults Only Platinum Isle. The island is beautiful and kept in pristine condition with lots of wildlife. Staff were fantastic and attended to our every need, especially: Barman - Shakthi, Room Attendant - Naseer, Bar Waiter - Jastin and Restaurant Waiter Samir. The Adults Island is very quiet with only a max 40 guests so would suit couples who want peace and quiet. The main island is more populated and offers some evening entertainment. The food is exceptionally good although if you wanted to eat at the A La Carte restaurant it is very pricey. It would have been good to have a little more choice with one or two more A La Carte restaurants that were not price prohibitive.

We just came back last week from here from our honeymoon. The staffs are all very friendly, and greeting us everywhere since day 1. We feel like home because they are very caring, especially Saleem who helps us a lot during our meals with his excellent English and dedication for his job. He’s always there to help us, and even decorate on the table for us on my birthday, and honeymoon. And we really want to say thank you to our cleaner for the room 336, he made beautiful decorations for our honeymoon and my birthday. They’re are beautiful. These people made our 10 days there feel like home and we definitely want to come back

Firstly, we would like to say thank you- thank you for the amazing hospitality and for making this trip feel like heaven on earth. We also wanted to point out some especially good parts and some tips for future travellers! Our arrival was gorgeous- after the sea plane (which was well organised) we received personalised water bottles and refreshments. We stayed in the water villas which look as good as the photos and are just such a unique part of staying in the Maldives. They can be noisy overnight if windy but this really didn't detract from the experience at all. Habeeb looked after our villa and was so smiley and left our bed with cute decorations! My partner is vegetarian so we were a bit concerned about the options so had emailed initially and told we could just highlight this on our arrival. In fact, there are lots of excellent vegetarian options (including a daily pasta stall if all else fails)- but the chefs went completely above and beyond at making my partner feel comfortable and she was so well catered for! They would seek her out at mealtimes and honestly just made us feel very special- I honestly think if she had requested anything they would have made her it especially- thank you for this. The food in general is so varied, on the whole so delicious, and there will bound to be something you like there. We adored the sri lankan hoppers, chocolate puddings and tuna toasties!! At mealtimes, you sit in the same table for all your meals and served by the same waiter. Our waiter was Shifaan who did an excellent job and liked to learn your drinks orders- he was very sweet and competent at his job! The Spa was a lovely experience too - it is pricey compared to other experiences we've had but was really genuinely lovely, professional and relaxing. We also did some trips- there is twice daily free snorkelling- the reefs you are taken to are quite limited but its a nice experience and free so can't complain at all. We also went to the shark trip which is guaranteed to see sharks (and absolutely loads of them!) because they get fed- we didn't go on the other trips because we weren't as 100% sure we would see the marine life- but heard they were very good. We also used the jetskis and the dive school guys were excellent, knowledgeable and it was super fun! The trip and resort was virtually faultless and having arrived home we feel like it was a dream! We would love to return if we have the chance. One thing just to lastly note was the experience we had as a same-sex couple . We actually got engaged whilst out there and felt that the staff maybe weren't sure how to approach the topic (we were very aware that it is not the norm is some cultures), but everyone was very respectful towards us around the resort even if it was apparent we were in a relationship. However on our arrival day we were asked if we were 'sisters or friends' which made us feel a bit uncomfortable- we understand that same-sex couples are perhaps not the norm in this part of the world but it would have been lovely to feel accepted from the beginning. However, apart from this initial comment, we otherwise felt very comfortable on the island and would recommend the island to other same-sex couples. The staff were happy to arrange the private dinner at the crab restaurant - an absolutely gorgeous setting, although all other crab restaurant diners are also outside (so a little less private than we had thought)- but it was a great experience to celebrate getting engaged. We are currently enjoying a fantastic stay at this wonderful resort. The entire team is very welcoming and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The villa (water villa / 329) is cleaned perfectly twice a day by a very nice young man who's name we unfortunately do not know. He is doing a great job. Also the food is great. Very good quality, great currys, and in general a lot of things to choose from. We never missed anything. Our waiter always knows what we need, thanks a lot for a great service every day. If you have a chance to stay at this resort, don't forget to enjoy an evening at "The Crab" restaurant. The menu was fantastic and we had a wonderful dinner at the beach. We also had 2 massages at Mandara Spa. Thanks a lot to Risma and Purnama, they both have magic hands :)! Not to forget Veli Bar. The entire bar staff is fantastic as well. They are available all day, whether you want something to drink while enjoying the pool or to finish the day in style with one of their great cocktails. My partner and I stayed here for a week and we had an amazing time. All staff are very friendly and approachable. Our housekeeping AKKI is very friendly and always comes with a smile. He kept our room clean and tidy at all times, changed our towels everyday as well as replenished our water twice a day. FALA from diving centre is also friendly we opt on for manta ray snorkelling, saw dolphins on the way as well! This excursion is worth the price and we suggest to go for this excursion. Food at the main restaurant is great! plenty of choices from different types of cousins around the world, you will never go hungry while on this resort! We came to the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives for our Honeymoon and we really loved it! At the arrival they were playing drums and gave us a warm welcome. After the first Drink we received at the reception we were brought to our beach bungalow in the platinum island. It‘s a wonderfull bungalow where you can walk in about 10 metres to the ocean and snorkle around the island. The staff is always nice and they will make you feel very comfortable. Our housekeeper called „Siraj“ is one of the nicest guys we met. We talked about the islands and he gave us some hints where to find nice collored fishes on our snorkeling trips and told us a lot about the history of the hotel and the islands. He comes from a neighboring Island and always was very nice and courteous. He also told us, that the Managers from the hotel are organizing clean up projects for local islands to help the people arround the Atoll. On our island they only used glass instead of plastic bottles and had paper straws. We two times made a dolphin safari, but sadly couldn‘t find one. The captain on the boat remembered us the second time and drove an extra long time just for us to get a bigger chance on seeing some. The Buffet was great and delicious. Every afternoon there were special dishes and a sort of livecoocking. Between Breakfast and Lunch and also between Lunch and Dinner you could get some sandwiches and cake. The whole restaurant Team is very friendly and fast. We also had two massages in the spa on the main island from „Risma“ and „Septi“. Both massages lastet for 60 minutes and we enjoyed it a lot! The free snorkeling trips will take place two times a day and the staff will take you to two reefs where you can see beautiful fishes and corals. Our last trip was the shark watching, where they will feed the sharks. That was really impressive and you have a 100% chance to see those sharks. We are so glad we had an beach bungalow, so we could relax on the beach, feel the sand on our toes and go in the water, whenever we wanted to. Every beach bungalow also has a water hose outside, so when you come back from the ist water or the sand you can shower yourself before entering the terrace or the lay on your own beach lounger. The beaches are always clean and everyone has done there best to make this one of the most beautiful holidays in our life! Thank you for having us and we hope to visit you again!…

Never been looked after so well. Great staff couldn't do enough for you. Delicious food every meal time. Wonderful views very relaxing. Made good friends. Nothing was a problem. The islands were a fabulous place to experience the snorkeling reefs. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and cleaned every day and a night service that turned your bed down for you. Great tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge which was refilled every day

We had a wonderful honeymoon at Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa. Everyone was so attentive and accommodating, our every wish was fulfilled. We had a water villa for the entire stay and would take it again anytime. Due to the direct location on the sea, there is at least a bit of wind, so it is super bearable in the hot and humid temperatures. Also, you can dive right into the water and snorkel wonderfully, so we even saw thousands of fish, corals, rays and even a turtle right in front of our villa. Our room boy Fayyaaz made sure our room was always clean and tidy with his fun and entertaining ways. He prepared little surprises for us and was always in a good mood and very friendly. All in all, professional! The food is super varied, a huge choice and everything very fresh and always hot. We were able to enjoy the food all the time, front row right on the beach overlooking the sea and our waiter Saleem who served us during our stay was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We had not yet been seated when he already brought us our drinks and always asked how we were and if we were satisfied. In the Mandura Spa, we were able to enjoy various massages and here, too, no wishes were left unfulfilled. A beautifully designed spa and everyone here was so friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Purnama, Ari and Risma! Thanks to winning and winning the Crab Race, we were able to enjoy a beautiful candlelight dinner on the beach and then feed the leftover bread to all the crabs on the beach. Yet again an other fantastic holiday here on this beautiful island. We were welcomed with drummers and a hand made garland, staff lined up to welcome us. Taken to the reception were you are given a fresh up towel, drink and filled in any necessary paperwork, all very quick. Then off on the buggy to our accommodation room 405 Private Island. The room was spotless, and a lovely welcome back bed decoration. Complimentary bottle of wine and fruit basket in the room. The room was kept immaculately clean all week by Siraj mini fridge filled, bed turned back, fresh towels and other bathroom accessories when required. The bed art for my birthday and our anniversary were truly amazing. The beach outside our accommodation was spotless, raked daily and two sun loungers, covers, parasol, the day bed was great to sit and watch the sunsets. Stone throw away to the sea. The island has its own pool, very quiet and tranquil, easy to get a nice refreshing drink and snacks. The restaurant was set out lovely, the food was totally amazing, the chefs are very talented, very friendly, the waiting on staff also ensured you had everything needed, drinks and loved a chat. There were themed nights and they catered for all requests. We visited the spa on several occasions, we we’re definitely not disappointed, we had fabulous massages, facial and the hot stones was very relaxing. We went on the shark trip, and this time even more special as we were allowed to feed them. We had a birthday meal on the beach at the crab restaurant and also for our 40th Anniversary a meal at the hill top restaurant, the food is awesome and delicious. We were given a cake on both occasions. We used the laundry service excellent value for money no washing on return home. The small shop has lots of little souvenirs and some essential items if you run out. All the staff are truly amazing and can’t do enough for you. We love it here, so much so we have booked to come back in February. We would like to give a big thank you to all the management for their generosity and hospitality. See you all soon.…
