We stayed here for one night after climbing Adam's Peak. The hotel is basic but clean hotel. We left for our climb very soon after we checked in. Check in was smooth and easy. They offered to pack sandwiches for our climb and we set...More
Family run business conveniently located near the start of the Adam's Peak climb. Welcomed with a warm Sri Lankan smile after a long journey. Given a choice of rooms, no request was too much trouble.

We stayed at this nice guest house for 2 nights and it was a pleasant experience. The rooms are big and very clean and, most importantly, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommendable for people that want to hike up the Adam's Peak!

I stayed in Nuwara Eliya to go to Hortons Plains - you want to do this early in the morning as cloud can come in over Worlds End as the day goes on and some of the walking would be pretty exposed in the heat later in the day.
I did this early one morning (5am start), then the next morning I travelled to Slightly Chilled in Dalhousie (as above) and the morning after (2am) I climbed Adams Peak.
The travel between is not large in distance but can still take a while. You might have time to do it the reverse way to me - Adams Peak then travel to somewhere closer to Hortons Plains and do that the following morning...hope that helps a little.
