Detailed Reviews
Its a very good hotel situated right in front of Parkson, easy to get food, easy to get parking and its well maintained.. the only bad thing about this hotel is, their receptionist is rude and not even qualified to work in mamak shop.. very very poor customer service in a nice looking hotel..

Without fail I would stay here if I am in SP. The room is just basic but serve it purpose. Location is good with food stalls aplenty and Parkson is just across the road. Staff were good and friendly. Plenty of car parks in front of the hotel.

If you reach Sungai Petani Kedah, do not bother to find accommodation hotels. I suggest you choose this hotel because of its location close to shopping malls and many food stalls. The important thing is that the hotel room is very beautiful, clean and cheap. The average staff is very friendly and kind, especially Mrs. Linda and Nurul. Although the standard is below the Park Avenue hotel (4 *) but the Northern Lodge "Room" is more beautiful and attractive.

Reasonable pricing - RM 75 for double bed. Clean. Though i didnt like that it smelt of cigarettes, there was an ash-tray in room so i assume it's a smoking floor. Next to plenty of shops and the Parkson, food and banks wont be a problem. Slept well on the firm bed.

The hotel facade was newly painted but the interior was pretty old. Floor layouts are weird and the corridors were creepy. Room itself was somewhat clean though very dusty. Beds were hard but acceptable. Bathroom was not clean or pleasant, there was a lizard living in the ceiling and it defecated everywhere. The bathroom window was open and could not be closed so all manners of bugs flew in at night. Rooms smelt of cigarette smoke. Overall would try to avoid if possible.

Never ever try this hotel as the room are aging, stinky when enter the room floor, along the way from lift to hotel room. Found very uncomfortable by staying in this hotel.
Yes, cant be denied room rate is cheap but definitely not worth to pay for that.
Hotel room is horrible, bed are lousy, blanket old & the bed sheet even have the hole that caused by smoker. Toilet also dirty, 1st hotel that we tried are fully regretful!
Add on, lots of mosquitoes & the hotel are nearby to the mosque, big no no to this hotel.
