I'm stay here with my perent for 2 days 1 night. Room is very clean and neat. But , TV have problem with unclear picture, Room also full with ants. Please install more lamp. Seriously , too scary at night even have security. Cannot walk properly because too dark. Two of lamp also off. Ah! When i'm check in , the receptionist is very excellent while during check-out..wft! During check out , two receptionist talk to each other and just make check out for me without said anythings. If you're receptionist , you have attitudes to say thank you or make eyes contacts to your customers during check out. But,they're busy talk and talk. I love the receptionist at morning with explanation and great attitudes. Then , i'm love breakfast here. So delicious even very simple.

My family spend 2 days 1 night at this resort for our brief stopover fishing vacation .As for the room the photos tell u what u see is what u get.The resort cafe only serve u drink. They cannot serve u food even if you want to pay for your order for breakfast. At the same time the management will fine u rm500 if they caught u cook any where on their land.the ceiling fan in the chalet is waiting to fall on the unlucky guest.the swimmig pool drain was clogging.the prayer room ceiling was leaking. At the same the new musolla was lock. The common toilets n bath was in a very bad condition. I wonder of a chalet having the king name on it have the same condition as thst of the rakyat.the management should very shameful to the king and the guests if the cannot improve their services n fscilities.

Went there for a family gathering on the 29th July 2014. Surprised with their bad service and bad quality of resort. Had a BBQ outside resort, with no light provided at the BBQ pit/carriage. Requested the resort to provide a light but they will charge us RM150 (only for the small light). Family room was ok but toilet very dirty. Toiletries incomplete. Very small pool.

Overall,,,we will never come back here. Very disappointed.

We've stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights for family day, about 55 members and booked around 15+ rooms, the room is nothing much to expect, toilet have 2 types, sit down and asian style, the aircond is quite noisy and need to services, some of the rooms need the aircond to be service before used. Towels are small and limited toilettries provided by the resort.

For food, breakfast dont have much choices but the porridges are to die for!! MARVELLOUS! Lunch and dinner you can buy from the various stalls outside the resort and dont expect a fast services, give out around 30 minutes for meal to ready, slow services.

Overall, it's an average stay.

location wise it is great, as it is just adjacent to the so called beach. However the rooms are ill maintained, ( for instance there was no remote for the TV "out of stock!"), the airconditioner could not be programmed , the bathroom is tiny. For the cost ( RM 180) one would expect better facilities.
The restaurant was average as well, mostly untenented.
There is no point in staying in this place, as Merdeka Beach is an overcrowded stinking muddy strip of sand best avoided by anybody who wants a beach experience..
The tiny swimming pool was too crowded at all times for me to even get a look in, so I cannot say much about it.

I can close one eye for the unreliable TV, very weak wifi, the only light in the room that is working very bad, the small and not entirely good looking towel. This is because the seaview is breathtaking. The only thing that I can't let go is the toilet. It's an old style squatting toilet. And not forgetting the incident when the shower stopped working while I was shampooing. Had to call front desk. The shower came back on short while after the phone call. Love the food stalls and food court nearby. Boat ride to Tanjung Dawai is a good way to end the holiday. Found a baby snake lingering in front of neighbour door. Called maintenance. They handled it well. That night, we put towel covering the bottom of the door. Just in case

Went there for a family day by our department and first problem was the price was changed from the initially agreed upon pricing when booking. Then, the room is ok although it’s very old fashioned and there’s no remote control for the tv. The shower is also confusing as you don’t have any control of the heat of the water. Overall the experience here is just ok but for the price they’re offering, it’s expensive.

nice place, but the food outlet only operates until 2330hrs .after that there are no resources to be found around it. Going out to the neighboring town is a bit scary because there are no street lights. dark. The outlets on Merdeka Beach operate until 2100hrs. pls standby food and necessary necessities. beautiful and comfortable resort at a reasonable price. ask management to consider the restaurant's operating hours. especially weekends. i will come again..but pls, upgrade...and restaurant staff need more training how to handle customer needs. overall, ok..keep up the nice job to be the great job...
