Staff was helpful when checking in and giving very clear information when asking for the nearby eatery places. New hotel in Sg Petani without elevator. The sound proof was bad between room to room. You can hear the water flowing sound from the next room when the toilet is in used. Sound like slam the door when someone in or out from the room in the floor. Tea making facility was outside of your room. Basically this is a nice hotel if you are looking for a night stay and the bed was comfortable.

Personally, I would give the hotel 5 stars because I think it is cheap considering the quality of the room (I always take the largest type of room, I don't know about the other types). And I love the fact that guests can use the computers in the lobby for free. The computers have internet access 24 hours a day. The breakfast here is also free and they provide free coffee and tea all day long. But my spouse gave it one-star because the service was slow. Specifically, anything we requested, the staff was slow to do it. And my spouse once saw the other rooms on a different floor and said that those rooms were too small. My spouse also complained because there was no elevator. The kids had no complaints about the hotel, except that there was no bathtub and no swimming pool. So, as a family, we can only give it 3 stars.

Stayed in with spouse and a kid.

Pros:
1) Affordable Rate.
2) Nearby (driving required) to Highway/Restaurants/Malls.
3) Friendly and informative staffs.
4) Good for single/business traveler.
5) Small but cozy room - Japanese style.

Cons:
1) No lift - if got a room on top floor - CRY.
2) Tea making facilities located outside of the room.
3) Sound proof gone - not recommended for light sleeper.
4) Room a little bit dusty.
5) Ample parking but parked outside beside the road - security and safety is a concern.
6) Troublesome checking in/out processes - you need to check-in (yes of course) and collect a bag containing remote controls (aircon & tv), towels and mineral water, and returned them when checkout (imagining packing again on behalf of the hotel, well a budget hotel).

Stayed there recently and overall I really recommend it due to the fresh new look ( Orange all-around ) ,VERY clean, friendly and attentive staff ( even during my "call-in" booking, it was handled professionally ! ) , location wise which is very easy to find ( i found it just by using my android mobile "waze" application ) and also easy to find place to eat nearby and with easy access to important landmarks or business premises in Sungai Petani.

Definitely I will stay there again and do keep up the good "Customer Service" ethics !

Located about 15 mins away from city centre. 10 minute drive to nearest tollhouse of PLUS highway.

Toilets and bedsheets were clean. There are no snacks/beverages provided in room. However, there are free-flow cookies/tea/coffee available in the lobby. Breakfast serves basic nasi lemak and bread. It is better to grab your breakfast at the town centre.

Extremely fast and reliable Wi-Fi (up to 50mbps according to speedtest by ookla). There are 2 computers with Internet available at the lobby.

There are free-flow water dispensers with hot/cold water at both the lobby and outside the rooms at each floor respectively.

If you require amenities such as hairdryer, you have to ask from the receptionist.

There are no lifts so try to get the ground floor rooms should there be any elderly in your travel party.

There is also a convenience store nearby down the block in case you want to pick up a snack or replenish your travel kit.

Family karaoke is available at the rate of rm30/hour (8pax maximum)

Overall, a comfy stay with fast Internet to keep you entertained at night.

The Orange + White colour made us feel fresh and clean. A perfect stay for getaways and convenient. BIG food court & shopping mall are nearby. Simple local breakfast is provided (nasi lemak, breads and some cookies etc). Free Wifi is running well.
It would be perfect if there is lift.

We stayed at this hotel on 27May2016. Our stay is only for a day. It's actually a stop for us to rest before we head north. We arrive quite late, nearly 10pm so we really hope that we dont have to wait long during check-in. Yes, we didnt because they already arrange everything for us. We have to pay RM50 for deposit and gave us an orange bag with towels, aircond and tv remote control. There is no lift in this hotel. We lucky that our room is at 1st floor. Our room has 2 double beds, a cupboard, tv and a long table with a chair. Just like the picture at the hotel website. The toilet is clean with functional hot shower. We had a really good rest that night. We thought we hv to eat outside for breakfast but they provided us bread with jam, butter, choc spead (which my kids love) and also nasi lemak bungkus. We had a good breakfast that day. It is easier if you hv your own transport since this hotel is nearby residential area. I will come back again to this hotel if we are heading to north.

Good :
(1) new and clean (2) Small but spacious (3) Wifi connection is very good (4) Toilet and towel is clean too (5) Bed is comfortable (but not the pillow) (6) Got a security staff to guard your vehicle overnight (7) Got free simple breakfast (8) Every room is opened by sensor key card (9) In case you forgot to ask the wifi password , beside the key card slot got shown wifi password
Bad :
(1) Not suitable for no vehicle visitor due to location is not city-centered (2) Only staircase to go up to hotel room (not suitable family with the eldery) (3) Surrounding is quite new and very quiet with not much food selected and to buy neccesory things, have to go out to town (including entertaining stuff such as shopping , movies etc) (4) Got insert came in from room door due to raining season (5) Window curtains can't blocked the morning light , if you wish to sleep longer (6) No telephone service in the room (have to walk down to lobby)

Due to recent weather is very hot and suddenly raining at afternoon or night somtimes , so to avoid the heat , i decided to give a try for this hotel that my sister told me.

Price for Single room is $68nett and Double room is $98nett per night (current walk-in price), is it overprice for this location ??? It's for you to decide.......For me , i'm okay with it.

We almost book a room via Booking.com (RM150/night) but end up just walk in that night. Upon querying about the room availability that we found out the family cost only RM130/night if signing up their membership (If not mistaken, RM20/year).

Location-wise, it is not far away from the Toll Exit. There are some shops around, but if you fancy for more stuff, the newly open shopping mall; Amanjaya Mall, is just 10-min away by car. Since the area is new, it is little bit quite (and dark) but safe.

The room & bathroom are clean & spacious with bright orange theme. It reminds me of Easy Budget hotel in Europe though. The shower was in good pressure. There were soap/shampoo/towels provided in the bathroom. The bed is little bit hard but that doesn't affect our good night sleep (we just came back from long journey Phuket). The free WIFI is also in good speed, we managed to update several Apps in our iPhones & iPad.

The breakfast is simple (nasi lemak, bread & coco crunch) at the corner of the lobby. The seating is limited and easily get crowded during peak time. So, plan your breakfast early/late if you want some privacy. And this hotel do not have lift, so be prepared to carry all your luggages & suitcases using the common stairs. It is OK with us since this is the case with almost all Budget Hotel in Kedah/Perlis.

We normally stayed in Changlun as our springboard to Thailand. Maybe from now, we just stayed in this hotel instead.

Pros - Spacious double bedroom, very clean, strong water for shower, comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, quiet environment
Cons - No lift for elderly, no phone for intercom to reception counter , no hair dryer, no extra pillows in room (as pillows very flat), Curtains not fully covered (as morning lights disturbing sleeping)
These are for all of your reference.
I just a simple one with don't mind majority of that. As room as the room are spacious and clean with comfortable bedding, all is fine for me.
