Strange hotel reception. Very crafty and not sincere. Cheats tourists. Bad service. Be sure to state exactly what you want from the onset. They pretend not to understand English. Rooms are old and tired. Toilets are generally overused and under-maintained. If possible, avoid this place unless absolutely necessary and don't go for more than one nite. Good luck... (there is...

If only the room that we stay have a small refridgerator as a must have in every hotel. Cleanliness is okay.found a plastic cup under the bed. Only have one access key. It will took a while for the airconditioning to cool the room due to only one key card slot to switch on the power for the room.

It's a hotel located in an old office building. It's probably the best Muar could offer. The staff were polite and check in was a breeze. The room was somewhat run down, with furniture probably from the 1980s. You may have read about this hotel being haunted and what not but trust me - an old high-rise building next to...

This is my second visit to Muar and my second stay at Muar Traders. Surprisingly the service standard and room hygiene is getting from average to below average. First, the receptionist did not use courteous words during my check-in, eg asking for my ID, "Give me your IC or passport", while asking for my contact no., there is no "Madam,...

(This is the same review that I placed in Agoda as I booked the hotel from that website.) This hotel is a joke! Everything about it is awful. Staff - They were disinterested, bored, dense and slow in their work. There were only 5 of us (2 couples and an elderly relative) in a group checking in and it took...

We stayed here for just one night. The check in took quite some time. We booked for 3 rooms with 2 connecting rooms, which were spacious and had a small pantry with amenities provided. The rooms look out to the Muar river. Beds were clean, made up and comfortable. Toiletries were sufficient for 5 of us. Location was nearby to...

Old and not well maintained. Not worth the money. Only plus is it has secret recipe restaurant right on the ground floor. Even that the food is expensive. we had sahur (early breakfast) at the hotel and it was lousy. Not a lot of choices. Spend money elsewhere please

We went there for a family trip. Two days, One night. When we enter the hotel, there was a nice smell (just like other hotels). I questioned, why was the hotel reception at the 6th floor? At the first floor, was 3 restaurants: Domino Pizza, Dazs' Donuts and Coffee and Secret Recipe. The donuts at the restaurant are delicious. Nearby...

I was in Muar to conduct a medical workshop and was put up at this hotel by the organiser. The hotel occupies the 6th to the 12th floor of the tallest building in Muar town. At the ground floor there are 3 eateries namely Secret Recipe, Domino Pizza and a new donut franchise. This is definitely not a Shangri La's...

We stayed for only one night and overall we were OK with this hotel for the Muar leg of our tour. The hotel was a bit dated and the interior looked old and the corridors were stuffy. The room was clean, and the wifi in the room was functioning well. The air condition was functioning well and the shower pressure...
