There is one hotel in Qik and it is the Tulugak Co-op hotel and it is just fine considering the remote location. It is all you need. The chief Louis is great as a host and Chief. And don't go by the photo above it is not a hotel, you can guess what it is I'm sure.

I stayed at this lodge and have never experieneced such rude service in my life. I DO NOT recommend this property to my worst emeny! The owner was extremly rude and the lodge was disgustingly dirty. We left Leelie Lodge and stayed at The Tulugak Hotel, which was a breath of fresh air. Very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Great service... More

I've stayed at Leelie Lodge several times in 2010 while doing ferry flights between Canada and Europe. I prefer to overnight in Broughton Island (Qikiqtarjuaq), rather than in Frobisher Bay (Iqaluit), because CYVM is a smaller, quieter community, and the people in the town are very friendly... not to mention that leaving from CYVM provides a shorter route to Iceland,... More
