A gorgeous ski-in and ski-out hotel positioned literally on the slopes, this place is worth making the effort to get to. The hotel feels like a modern lodge and is beautifully decorated (think antlers, candles and open fires). We had a double bed (two singles pushed together and individual blankets) a wardrobe the length of the wall, a small lounge...

Hi Naomi, We're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. How wonderful that you found our energy shots at the breakfast which is a new offer this winter. We're working to ensure our wifi in the hotel and has therefore updated our whole equipment this season to ensure that all guests can use the wifi smoothly. You are always...

Came to the restaurant part of the hotel for lunch twice during our 4-day trip to Åre, and was very happy with both meals. The first day we ate in the formal seated area, which had about a 20 minute wait, but was well worth it. Once seated, the waiter made sure that my gluten-free requirement was not an obstacle...

This place is halfway up the slope. The real afterski starts as the lifts close at 4:30 p.m. but it's accessible to 10 p.m. from the cable car. Live music. The door guard kept telling us to keep our kids from using the emergency exit. But our kids were back at the lodge . Didn't try their hotel

Went here for a conference with work. Good conference facilities, great ambiance & after-ski, and tasty breakfast buffet. I was also pleased with the friendly service and the sauna. The rooms are however a bit small, but nothing really to complain about. I would come here again.

We were a family of four with 2 daughters age 12 and 14. Beeing half swedish/half english family (living in Gloucestershire) we had been skiing in Sweden before and never been overly impressed compared with the Alps. However, as we like both crosscountry and downhill and we had heard many good things about Are, we decided to try it. We...

Hotel is directly situated at the ski slopes. But it is not easy to reach, if Furnikular-train is broken (as was the case when we were there). A taxi from the town up to the hotel was 180 SKR. The view from the hotel is very good, the breakfast is excellent, dinner was also very good; alcohol expensive (as usual...

We were travelling with some sweedish friends and wanted to stop for the night so we got on the GPS to find us an affordable place. When we arrived and seen the place from outside we were going to leave as we thought it is going to be expensive but because it was in September and out of season we...

Ok, the hotel has a very good view and the lobby looks very nice, but the rooms were extremely tiny. And just to make it even smaller they left the the extra bed in out the room. The restaurant was only open from 6-8 pm (ok, it's summer, we might have the accept that), but when we asked (before we...

We visited here with our babygirl and grandmom and will do it again next time. Though the downside was that transforming from a after-ski place to a fine dine dinner place takes time and you had to wait some 15-20 mins before the cleaning (vacuuming, etc) was done. Food was really good and service was nice, but since it wasn't...
