When we booked we were told there were no more tents so had to stay in a cabin which was quite expensive but reluctantly booked one. We did not regret it! After a few long days of hiking and camping it was pure luxury with towles, amazingly comfy beds, fantastic views and own log burning stove. There was even a... More

We stayed in the cabanas at Los Cuernos just before peak season and it was incredible. The location is unmatched. Woke up to a rainbow over Lago Nordenskjold, of which you have a view of right from the cabin. The crew managing the refugio were all super friendly and went above and beyond in accommodations. The cabanas have a tiny... More

We thought this was the worst of the four refugios we stayed in on our W trek. It's overpriced like all of the refugios (particularly the Fantastico Sur ones) and only had a fairly small dining area, no other communal area. Showers were fine but didn't have separate little cubicles with changing area like the Vertice Patagonia ones. The main... More

We camped at Los Cuernos but paid for the full board and it was great! Best food out of all the Refugio's we visited and the box lunch was in a reusable bag which was great considering you need to keep all your rubbish along the way. They were renovating when we were there but it looks like the new... More

Victor was very welcoming and genuine. We had a very enjoyable time with him while we were there in the off season. He went above and beyond what he had to do for us and he will always be a part of the memory I have of the park. Definitely stop and meet him if you have a chance

It was a terribly cold night during the off season. Victor Orjaz Diaz invited us into the lounge even though it was closed and offered coffee and tea, and some copa america action. What a dude! He is truly our Angeles.

After refugios with basically nothing, it's a relieve to enter refugio los Cuernos. The staff is so friendly it's like coming home - but to a house with an amazing view over los cuernos. Even though we were there in winter, the refugio was very well kept and clean, with a lovely fire to warm your boots at. If we... More

Refugio Cuernos is owned by Fantastico Sur. Having read reviews previous to our trip I wasn’t sure if choosing the refugios over camping was the right decision so we went with low expectations. There are dorm style rooms with 6-8 bunkbeds in each which are pretty basic but clean and comfy. The dining area has long bench like tables where... More

Stayed here for one night during our W circuit trek. The rooms each had 8 beds and the lodge gets pretty packed. Dinner was delicious but slightly rushed because they needed room for a second round of meals.
